Staying at Loon during school vacation week means huge wait times for super busy restaurants. We decided we should take a 25 min drive and avoid the mess in Lincoln/ woodstock area. Boy were we glad we did. We got right in a 6:30 for dinner. Food was fantastic. And service was top notch. Well worth the short drive even if the restaurants in Lincoln were not busy. I would come back here again in a heartbeat.

We had dinner here on Valentine's Day in 2023 and were really impressed. Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Really wonderful. We made reservations again this year for that reason. We were seated in a different location near the entrance in the middle of the room this time so the ambiance wasn't quite the same. My chardonnay came out in a glass that was filthy, you could see and feel the grime on the glass. Appetizer plates were dirty too. The service wasn't stellar but wasn't terrible either. Some of our food was absolutely fantastic while other things missed the mark. Seems a bit hit or miss.
Greeted very nicely by staff. Once we were seated we couldn't believe how beautiful the place was. Waitress was friendly and prompt. The food was excellent! Must be a place to try next time your in the area
My partner & I had a 10 out of 10 experience! This was our first time coming and we'll definitely be back! We got there 15 minutes early for our reservation and they sat us right down and took our drink orders, Shortly after they took our meal orders! We already had our appetizers by the time that our reservation time was booked for! (5:30pm) The service was good. The staff is so sweet & the food was absolutely fantastic! ???? Also the views were breathtaking. I highly recommend coming here if you want a nice relaxing dinner with great views at a great price!!! The only “down fall” I'd say was that the scallops I had were on a special menu for Valentine's Day and not the regular menu. They were sooooo good, I'd come back all the time just for those scallops!!!! I highly recommend you guys add those on the regular menu!!! ?????❤️

That view was breath taking. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly, interactive and fun, she made the overall experience worthwhile. We would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends.

It was our 2nd time. The first experience was around this time last year and it was outstanding. We did not have a reservation then so there was no review but we all remembered it fondly. It was crowded last year so we made reservations this year. The interior is really nice and the bar scene was lively. It was decently busy, only a few open tables. Service was great. Drinks were slow to arrive but they were good. We got crab cakes and wings that were great but sent the pork belly back because it was chewey, not rendered enough. The replacement calamari was hot but soggy. Bruschetta Salmon and 1/2 chicken were great, “steak & frites” was a sirloin, not sliced, over fries with an aioli. It was good but wasn't the “steak frites expected” so bad on us I guess. The Butternut Squash ravioli with sausage and kale was mediocre and not very flavorful. Desert was fine but nothing to write home about and $19.50 for a cup of coffee with Bailey's and Jameson is kinda absurd.

Hidden gem! 10/10 food, service and atmosphere! Ashley T. made thee best Shirley Temple! Highly recommend the shrimp scampi!!!!
We went for a romantic dinner for New Year's Eve and we were very impressed with the ambiance, the food but more importantly, the level of service we received. They treated us like family. Matt, owner/manager came over to make sure everything was okay and gave us the history of the place as well and how they are growing, on a very busy day for them. Would love to come back in the summer and try their golf course and eat here again.

Our server was Audrey and she was excellent. The front desk stuff, the manager, and our server were all super friendly and welcoming. We stopped for a quick late lunch/early dinner on our way to VT. It was a perfect meal. My only suggestion is to have a real sharp steak knife with pork belly appetizer as it is not possible to cut it with a standard knife.

Our server was a sweet and friendly. Manager checked in. Ceasar salad had way too much dressing and lettuce got saturated. Shrimp Scampi was good along with half roasted chicken and Tuna Bowl. Nice atmosphere.

My Husband and I visits Owl Nest Resort often and the Menu needs to be upgraded. Its the same menu every time. We had Christmas Eve Dinner 12/24/2023 and was very disappointed. They should have had at least two special for that the Holiday. I got sick on 12/23 after eating the Shrimp Scampi. Would we hurry to go back (not anytime soon).
