Tartaglia’s Pizza is one of the best hidden gems in the White Mountains.

We stopped in after a long day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Located right off Exit 28, it’s exactly the kind of place you’re grateful to find after a day of skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring the area.

The wood-fired pizza was outstanding. We had both the cheese and Margherita pizzas, and they were perfectly cooked with a delicious crust, fresh ingredients, and incredible flavor. The salads and wine were excellent as well.

The outdoor space is beautiful, with live music, picnic tables, and a relaxed atmosphere tucked among the trees. It feels welcoming, casual, and uniquely New Hampshire.

Despite being busy, the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. We were able to grab great food and settle in to enjoy the music without a long wait.

Tartaglia’s has mastered the combination of amazing food, a fantastic atmosphere, and convenience. We feel lucky to have found it and will absolutely be back.

Highly recommend!

Went to get a takeout pizza later in the evening and wanted to try this place after being told it was very good, imo not so much. This place sells slices or 12in pizzas only, i ordered a regular 12in cheese pizza for 17 dollar which is crazy to be honest. the pizza was very thin, too little sauce, generic taste nothing blowing me away except for a little burnt after taste, no crunch at all. I would say the workers were very nice and the pizza was quick less than 5 minutes from ordering which is why I think not as good as others had said in the past. The atmosphere was nice small few indoor and outdoor seating, nice smell from the pizza oven. The menu was smaller only a few pizzas and garlic bread and salads and a few baked desserts. Overall I would say way too expensive for what you get and probably better other options in the local area. But try it if you're in the area and if you want too.

2 pizzas. 1 onion and 1 half pepperoni/half sausage. $47!!! Super thin, skimpy and flavorless. Nice atmosphere though. The singer was incredible, even as he played in the rain.

Tartaglia’s Pizza in Compton, NH serves delicious wood-fired pizza with great flavor profiles and a solid variety of choices. The service was super friendly, and our pizza came out quickly. We especially loved the spicy Margherita. The pies were a bit pricey, $47 with tip for two but honestly, given the food options in the area (mostly pub grub), we were thrilled to find such a high-quality pie. Definitely worth it.

This is by far the best pizza in all of New England! The owner uses the freshest ingredients her salads are amazing and I can not say enough about the pizza! So delicious and fresh and great for leftovers the next day! We love the desserts especially the cannoli with dipping marscapone! It is amazing! We have been coming here since they opened and it is my favorite pizza by far!

Best pizza north of Boston. Cat has an amazing flavor profile for her sauce that keeps my partner and I coming back for more. Will 1000% keep recommending.

Tartaglia’s Pizza is hands down the best pizza in New Hampshire. The brick-oven crust is absolute perfection. It was crispy, chewy, and full of flavor and the ingredients are incredibly fresh and delicious. Every pizza we tried was outstanding.

It’s a cozy little hole-in-the-wall and we enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner and her staff while waiting for our pickup order. You can tell they truly care about their food and their customers.

A quick tip: the pizzas are on the smaller side (I definitely over-ordered, but no one complained about the leftovers!), and since it’s a small operation, call well ahead if you’re placing a large order. This place is a gem and we’ll be back for sure the next time we’re in the area!

I bought 4 pizzas and all of them were burnt. I have photos. Terrible taste and quality. Shame on you for having actually given that to a customer. Lazy! Better off going to exit 28 pizza.

What a gem!!! Happened upon Tartaglia’s while taking the exit for gas and could not have been more pleasantly surprised and delighted. Very clean, cozy, inviting space and super fresh yummy pizza baked right in front of you in the cheerfully tiled wood fire oven. The staff is so clearly deeply connected to the community, checking in on how neighbors are doing as they come in. Very loving energy and a joy to witness.

I had heard good things. But the pizza was only ok. Not worth the cost in my opinion. The Pizzas were pretty small. Nothing to write home about, in my opinion.

Extremely delicious pizza! The place was nice and the food was nicer, I say. Though I was harassed by a ginger calling me “comrade” and asking me to fight. Would definitely come again though!

This is the best wood fired pizza between Littleton and Plymouth. I usually get the special. Last night was the best -greek. Just yummy. Service -they also offer great suggestions if you are unsure. Thank you
