This place was versatile. You could eat on the veranda and take in the views of the white mountains almost 180 degrees in view. The drinks are extremely pricey for the size served. They were delish thou. If I can recommend a single thing it would have to be the clam chowder. Ask for butter not oil and ask for pepper otherwise the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. We came for cocktails and to enjoy the view! We toured the historic hotel and then went to the Rosebrook Bar. We received excellent, friendly service. I cannot comment on the food as we did not order anything except for wine and beer.

Hummus was gross and sour, carrots were limp, Caesar salad was not too fresh, cheese plate was a joke. I wish I took a photo of the cheese plate. It was two huge triangular uncut pieces of cheese and half of some round cheese with bread cut in the middle. Whoever prepared that needs to go back to the culinary school and learn about presentation. It’s not just about food.
