Valley Regional Hospital Reviews
Had a terrible experience with Charles Gerz, APRN in the emergency department. He is clearly very ignorant about mental health issues and should not be working with patients who are seeking mental health treatment. He made me feel awful when I was there in crisis. I would never recommend valley regional for psychiatric care.
Took them 4 1/2 hours to do anything for my 100% disabled vet roommate who was run over by a bus. Hadn't cleaned her wounds, checked her injuries, or given her pain meds/ saline until I told them to start doing their jobs. Tried to evict her that day with no help. This expensive tax sucking grave yard is responsible for many people's suffering and families passing away due to, improper EVERYTHING at this point. Valley Regional Hospital offers an exceptional oncology team, with outstanding medical care and unwavering kindness and compassion. Patients feel like they are visiting a second family, as the team takes the time to listen, reassure, and ensure each patient feels cared for on both a medical and personal level. The hospital has great departments like physical therapy, mammography, and the lab. Patients have had positive experiences in the emergency room with Dr. Dawson and with nurses. Everyone was very professional and caring, and nurses like Colleen were top-notch. The hospital has demonstrated generosity, providing a free cab ride home for a patient. However, the hospital has received mixed reviews, with some patients reporting unsatisfactory experiences at the urgent care department and concerns about how mistakes are handled.
