“My husband and I come to visit (and ATV) at least once a month. We typically stay right at the Bear. Rooms are clean and the service in the bar is spectacular. Michelle, Nina, Diane, Tricia and the rest of the crew are top notch!! This time, though…I was very disappointed (not in the service…but in the food). I love hand cut chicken tenders and typically have them wherever I go. I look forward to checking in every time because black bear has (in my opinion) chicken tenders that rank top 5 in the state!! NOT so this last visit (Memorial Day weekend). The chicken tenders (if you want to call them that) that I got appeared to be some sort of frozen icky over breaded chicken rib meat that would be served in a fast food restaurant. I couldn’t even eat them. Bring back the original hand breaded tenders…because a couple of my other favorite chicken tenders in the 603 are North of the 45th!!”

“This has to be the best pizza sub shop ever! The family and extended family of employees make you feel at home. Cooks from Greece and Canada, with combined over 50 years experience, have their menu down to a science. The food is beautiful, plentiful, fresh and absolutely delicious!

“The food is superb, especially my favorite; General Taos chicken. They have a cozy dine-in atmosphere. They do take-out as well. The staff is very friendly and they've been around for decades. That says something. It can be a little pricy if you have a group setting BUT you get what you pay for and that's a delicious meal! :)

“Im not from Colebrook, i typically stop here on my way to/from home. This Dunks, in my opinion, is easily the best one in New Hampshire. The view from the parking lot is amazing. The service has been exceptional every time ive been here. And the bakery is like none ive seen before. The donuts are SO fluffy, and decorated so well. These bakery items here feel more like a local bakery than they do Dunkin Donuts. Every time im here i have to give props to whoever made the baked goods.”
