“Fantastic Food, Friendly Service, and Cozy Atmosphere!” Abenaki Tavern in North Conway is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal and cold beverage. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or a casual bite, their menu has something for everyone. The portions were generous, and you can tell they put care into every dish. Between the excellent service, cozy setting, and top-notch food, Abenaki Tavern is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy another great meal!

would not recommend going when I went there there was nobody at the front hosting. Had to wait 10 minutes before somebody acknowledged us and brought to a table. I only had a table of two And the table of five that came in one minute before we did got All their food and the table that came in 10 minutes AFTER we did which was also another table of five Shortly got their food when I complained to my waitress about it she didn’t care enough to give me any sort of explanation just kind of gave me the attitude of too bad too sad So I left. I work in the food industry too. I get it when a mistake is made but to sit there and basically give me the I don’t give a shit attitude. It’s not right.

Love the vibe and the staff here. The food is freshly made and so while it is NOT fast food it is great food and worth the wait.

Casual family dining with a great wait staff with a awesome sense of humor! Dinner was very good and more than affordable! Our waitress Lo Lo was great and kept coming back to check on us, she had a great personality but if you didn't like her service then her name was Mary! LoL Come with your family and have fun while eating it's very kid friendly. You won't be disappointed and you won't wait as long as other restaurants to get in!

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room and the waitresses all have kids and they have that special touch for handling them!

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out for wheelchair ♿️ accessibility with wide doors.

This place was awful., we had 2 children with us under 5 and 2 random dishes arrived. We have been here an hour and a half with no silver where and barley any drinks. We were requested 3 lemons in a water and repeated. Nothing. At least 5 tables have came and left in the time we had been here. Absolutely horrific.

The restaurant staff was very friendly and the service was quick. Their homemade potato chips were very good and a nice change from fries. The chicken tenders were large but dry. The fried haddock sandwich was tasty. Their wings were nicely prepared but very spicy. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was generously sized but I didn't care for the flavor. Overall, Abenaki Trail was disappointing compared to the reviews. The dining room needs a refresh and the floor, table and chairs were sticky. There is plenty of free parking.

This place was okay. It's a very loud space, very cavernous. I am understanding that this place was in the middle of transferring to a new owner so please take that into account when reading this review and allow for the adjustment period. The service was outstanding. We felt very taken care of and were seated promptly and checked on throughout our meal. We had appetizers and dinner. The appetizer was better than the dinner. We had both ordered burgers, medium rare and got one that was medium-well and one that was well done. The flavor was great just not the cook. Love the free refills on soda. Hopefully they will add a dessert menu too. You can tell there has been renovations done and the difference between the new and old is obvious-one part of the floor is brand new and the other part had been there for quite some time as it was very dirty and super sticky. I plan to revisit to give it another chance after a little more time has passed under the new ownership.

visited for the first time today. Searched for homemade onion ring and this place came up with great reviews. Let me tell you it did not disappoint the food was delicious top rated onion rings and tried my first long island ice tea I'm hooked. We will make this a yearly stop on our vacation. Thank you Daniel!

My wife and I head to North Conway once a year and honestly we have driven by this spot so many times without stopping it's crazy. We stopped in last year (2023) for the first time and were blown away with the place. Super friendly staff. Some of the best food in North Conway (in our opinion) it's now a scheduled thing for us when we are in the area. We have also recommended Abenaki to friends and family, they all agree with us. The fried pickles are a game changer. Do yourself a favor and check it when you are in the area.

The food was mediocre, but not as great as I was expecting from the other reviews. The children's play room (mentioned in other reviews) has been gone for a while now.

Took a chance on the Abenaki Trail Restaurant on a Monday night. Not many other places were open. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service. The rib eye was one of the best I have had, in-house made mashed and the Broccoli were great. Don’t pass this place up. They deserve a visit.
