“We had Cheese Louise cater our wedding, that had a music festival theme, and they knocked it out of the park! The appetizers were incredible, and everyone loved the variety of the grilled cheeses on the menu. The food really tied the theme together!”

“My husband and I got married in North Conway a few weeks ago and let me just say, Underground Bakery made our day so much more magical. Our cake was everything I could have dreamed of and more. I think “delectable” is an understatement. We got a mocha cake with mocha buttercream, and I said I wanted it just plain white frosted so I could stick a few fake flowers in it. It was GORGEOUS. And the customer service? Just as incredible as our cake. I can’t even express how appreciative I am to have found this gem. I’m counting down the weeks until our next North Conway getaway so I can go get some more mouth watering goodies. If you’re ever in North Conway, PLEASE do yourself a favor and visit!!!”

“Danette is a sweetheart to work with. We discovered her treats five years ago when my daughters celebrated my 70th birthday in NH. We have celebrated every special day that we have been in NH since with a delicious cake from her bakery! Our latest was a beautiful cake celebrating my husband’s 75th. In spite of the large size, there was not a speck left after breakfast the next morning. Can’t wait for our next occasion!”

“Our first visit in many years of visiting Conway. Now I think we should have visited sooner. It was a good alternative to many of the other local ice cream shops serving up Gifford's. Not that Gifford's is bad but Splitz serves up ice cream from Richardson's Dairy, a small family owned dairy which also happens to make very good ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors including frozen yogurt. You can get any of their flavors a cone or cup, sundae, or shake/frappe. They have a large variety of toppings available as well. Well worth a visit.

Parking: There was a free parking lot behind the business. Plenty of parking when we visited though I could imagine it getting pretty full on a busy day. Drive carefully as to get to the parking lot you go through a 50 foot one car driveway between the business and playground.

Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love ice cream?!?! The indoor dining area has a few ski gondolas for kids to sit in for a picture, and outside there is a good sized playground on the property.”

“I stopped here on my way to my air b and b. My son has a severe milk allergy. The waitress helped me look up on the Allergen list what he could eat. Once the ticket was put in, the chef came out to let us know they received new items that now contain milk where they didn't before. He knew the menu well and we were able to pick a meal. With all that said, they were professional, helpful, and the food was delicious. My son ended up getting a burger with the fixings. I got the fish and chips. I usually don't because the fish is usually greasy. Not here. It was well seasoned, crispy, and the tarter sauce was good. The place was clean and the waitress was attentive and friendly as well. I will visit again.”

Wonderful clam chowder, clam stuffed mushrooms, homemade onion rings and delectable buttered lobster rolls.
Some of the best coleslaw anywhere.
They have a nice daily lunch special until 5 pm with reasonable prices. Highly recommend this restaurant”

Fast customer service and the workers were great. The tables were clean and it was a comfortable place to eat. They even have outdoor picnic tables if you prefer to eat in the fresh air

“This is a great place. First time eating here and I would absolutely go again. The food is well made and I couldn't for the life of me see why people thought the portions were too small. I got plenty of food for the combo meal I ordered. The food was also prepared fast! My wife and I didn't know it was take out only and waited there after ordering. The owner chatted with us while we waited and was very niceHighly recommend eating here especially compared to the prices of some places in the area”

Food was awesome and Sam was very helpful! Nachos, shrimp cocktail, kids menu, onion rings, hand cut fries, chicken parm sandwich and steak & cheese were all excellent. We wouldn’t have known it was there but highly recommend!

Parking: Located on a side street, free 2 hour parking on both sides of street

Kid-friendliness: Comprehensive kids menu. Welcoming atmosphere. Waitstaff interacted directly with child. Definitely kid-friendly. Thanks!”

“Excellent restaurant that really takes food allergies seriously!!!

I was able to order a steak because they know what seasonings they use, they were able to clearly communicate it, and they prepared the steak in foil to make sure there was no cross contamination (they wanted to be extra safe, and foil is better than just cleaning the grill).

They also knew what was in their desserts, and oh my goodness the chocolate bomb was delicious.

I highly recommend them, and am trying to find another excuse to eat there during my three day stay in North Conway.

The price was also reasonable for a good steakhouse.

Dietary restrictions: They were able to look at their ingredients, and accommodate my capsaicin allergy”

“Food was delicious. Very small portions though. I got 8 homefries with my small omelet. The hostess who I believe is the owner was not very friendly at all! The sign on the door says to shut your phones off which is fine with me. Also to make sure your children stay seated. While I do agree with that it’s not always so easy with younger ones. There was a note on the menu that said if your kids played with the sugar packets you would be charged for it. I would definitely say it’s not a small child friendly place.”
