Just stopped in on a whim and ordered roast beef sandwiches. The beef was extremely tender. Some have complained that the beef was not flavorful. Without all the added salt, the beef taste came through loud and clear. My husband and I don’t need all the extra salt so it was definitely to our liking. Great friendly staff as well!

We got lunch on a Saturday and the service was fantastic, we got our food in under 10 minutes after we ordered. The roast beef melted in your mouth. Not the place to go for a fancy meal, but the perfect place if you want a hardy meal and good atmosphere for chatting.

Food was great, our waiter was very nice. The onion rings are great. The staff was very attentive. It a great place for a good lunch. We come here everytime we are in the area.
The waitress was okay but never asked us where we'd like to sit. We were tired from a long day so we just sat outside. I ordered the hot beef sandwich. The beef was not very flavorful and the gravy was watery with no taste. Thank God for salt!! They are dog friendly but when this family came in with their dog, as soon as the waiter came over the dog had a very mean growl and bark!! I felt that they should have been asked to leave because of the dog's temperament! It surely wasn't trained. The second issue was the guy trying to play a guitar in back of me on the street. He kept spitting hauckers several times. I turned a few times and gave him a look but he did it again. Please don't sit near the street!
Classic roast beef done right. Also nicely fried seafood was a surprise. Plan to return

Been coming here for years and always been extremely satisfied. The Roast beef sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Excellent service always, the outside dining area has water bowls for dogs. A definite must eat at and a local business since 1976 !!!

Amazing roast beef sandwiches! Every year, we plan our trips to North Conway around the days beef & ski are open. Truly the best onion rings too! It’s a must for both. Our doggies love the roast beef pup cups… arguably too much. Immediately after proposing a few years ago, my husband asked what we should do for dinner and I said beef & ski… so that’s what we had 😊
