Great NY Strip cooked just right. Had a great IPA by Saco River. The bartender Chris was spot on for recommendations.

Dined here tonight, on a busy Saturday. We had an issue with speed of service, waiting some time for food. The manager dealt with this in a professional manner, understanding our frustration and reacting accordingly, the sign of a good operation. Should also say, the burger I eventually ate is the best I've had in very long time. Do visit for tasty food, but be patient if it's busy.

I wasn't expecting much, but the food was very good, and our waiter was outstanding... Not one of us left hungry.... Not a fancy place, but good for the family. We will come back, next summer.

Had reservations for NYE, we arrived and seated then we never were acknowledged for easily 15 minutes, finally the server said I’ll be over soon, clearly she was the only one waiting on the entire restaurant.. it continued to go down hill from there..at one point my son asked for another drink (he just turned 21) she told him no the bar was too busy (apparently only 1 bartender on for entire bar) but said we had to put in our food because kitchen was backed up. 25 minutes later my son asked if we could order drinks now and she said ok, took our drink order and we waited about 20 minutes for those to arrive. We actually contemplated getting up and leaving because the service was so horrible but it wasn’t the servers fault it was the management or lack of. There was no manager there, the hostess just kept seating people instead of turning people away, putting the server even more in the weeds. Our food finally arrived and everyone’s food was ice cold, we couldn’t complain because the poor server couldn’t even check on us, we ate our food because we were so hungry and at that point it was almost 9:00 and anywhere else was either closed or full(we sat at 6:30) we ended up paying over $230 for the worst experience we have ever had.. I would recommend anywhere but here.

Deacon Street saved the day for my boyfriend & I last night!
I had made a reservation at a restaurant weeks in advance to surprise my boyfriend with a nice night out celebrating his birthday during our weekend stay in North Conway. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at the restaurant that shall not be named. we had a 7:30pm reservation & at 8:45pm we still had not recieved any service. We finally decided to leave & we were scrambling searching for a place in North Conway open at 9:00pm as we were extremely hungry after a long day of hiking. We ran into Deacon Street asking if the kitchen was still open & the bartender said we had 2 minutes to place an order. We ordered Maple Pecan Salmon & Rib-eye steak. Both meals were 10/10!!!! So delicious. We could not be more grateful to the bartender & chef who turned our night around. The bartender was extremely personable & made an amazing Peanutbutter cup martini for myself & a Manhattan for my boyfriend. The peanutbutter cup martini was my favorite cocktail i’ve ever had.
Again, so thankful to the amazing staff & delicious food at the Deacon Street for making our night so special.

my husband and i are on a weekend getaway so we decided to stop here for dinner. the food was amazing, but the service was even better. we absolutely loved joe. he was super attentive & friendly. this will definitely be our spot whenever we’re visiting from mass!!
Only came for late night cocktail. But the bartender was fun and attentive. Had a lovely time. Disappointed that we didn't have time to return.

Food was very gross and the steak tips were slimy and rancid! Had to return the food and leave still hungry and feeling sick. We will not be returning here!
