Delicious ice cream with a lot of variety. My daughter especially enjoyed the playground outside and made a new friend fast.

Came with the whole family. The kids had fun on the playground and we got all the flavors we needed, even my mom’s favorite rum raisin. The owner also ended up going the extra mile by helping us get our van restarted! The battery had died and he had tools to get it out and then drove us to Autozone! Incredibly nice guy!

Service was fast, ice cream was good. The atmosphere was really cool. The only downfall was the portion size compared to the price. I feel we should have gotten more for the cost, seemed like a run of the mill tourist trap overall.

They call themselves a “sundae” bar but do not know what a sundae is. If I wanted a strawberry sundae then I should be able to get just that. Instead I got 2 good sized scoops of vanilla ice cream with a tiny ladle maybe the size of 2 tablespoons of frozen strawberries, no liquid. When asked why they were frozen and they said that’s how they keep them fresh. I asked before I ordered how the strawberries were and it was misleading for sure. So before you go for a “sundae”, look for other places. If you want an expensive dish of ice cream with a few toppings sprinkled then this is your place.

Our first visit in many years of visiting Conway. Now I think we should have visited sooner. It was a good alternative to many of the other local ice cream shops serving up Gifford's. Not that Gifford's is bad but Splitz serves up ice cream from Richardson's Dairy, a small family owned dairy which also happens to make very good ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors including frozen yogurt. You can get any of their flavors a cone or cup, sundae, or shake/frappe. They have a large variety of toppings available as well. Well worth a visit.

Parking: There was a free parking lot behind the business. Plenty of parking when we visited though I could imagine it getting pretty full on a busy day. Drive carefully as to get to the parking lot you go through a 50 foot one car driveway between the business and playground.

Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love ice cream?!?! The indoor dining area has a few ski gondolas for kids to sit in for a picture, and outside there is a good sized playground on the property.
