Excellent lobster rolls and clam chowder! The clam chowder wasn’t too heavy on cream which is the way my husband and I like it. The lobster was very fresh, lightly dressed with mayo and some celery so the lobster stayed the highlight. The roll was homemade and fresh as well. Highly recommend!

Edit: I received a deceitful and extremely unprofessional response to my review. They actually called me and my wife garbage and said gfy. That’s personal. As I said, the clams were covered in sand inside and out, and one of the staff actually asked us if we wanted them rewashed. There is no good way to rewash them, since the clams should be cleaned first on the outside before they open up. Pathetic.
I don’t normally review restaurants when I’m traveling but this place is garbage and needs to close yesterday. The steamed clams had sand all over them, even all over the outside, at a level I have not seen before. They were not edible and you could not pick up a clam shell without sand covering your fingers. We had to give up on eating them and when we complained they saw how careless the kitchen was with the food and took it off the bill without us insisting on it. The broiled seafood platter had imitation crabmeat instead of lobster in the greasy breadcrumb junk that was put there in place of the lobster tail. Disgusting and honestly sacrilegious for a seafood restaurant. I saw this place opened in 1982. They clearly don’t care any more and should just close. Lots of angry yelling in the kitchen too… reminds me of kitchen nightmares. Worst seafood restaurant I have ever been to and they should be ashamed. The waiter was great and he was the only person working hard, but he had too much to do. I feel very bad for him. Also the carpet is disgusting. Horrible restaurant.

Got there at 630 everyone seemed very harried sat at the bar oysters were great my husbands scallops were awesome my chicken parm was ok it was close to where we were staying I’m sure there are better places w better service the waiter was very busy n had no time to make you feel comfortable which is part of the whole visit Update … if short on help from kids returning to school that should not effect your business now we are into Oct school starts in Sept

We had the broiled and stuffed lunch haddock special - AMAZING. You can easily split one stuffed haddock between 2 people. For $15-16, you CANT go wrong. One of our favorite restaurants on the trip:
