Merlino's Family Steakhouse

We just left Merlino's and were very disappointed. This was our first time here. I ordered the special which was an 8oz sirloin and crab cake and my husband ordered the filet. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came well done. The waitress asked if I wanted another steak otherwise she couldn't do anything. I didn't want to wait so I picked at it and ate what I could. My husband ordered his filet medium but it was very rare. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary so again this meal was expensive ($100) but very disappointing. Unfortunately we will not be returning to Merlinos again.

I visit North Conway, a few times a year. This was my first time trying Merlinos. I ordered chicken parmesan for takeout and it was amazing!! Generous portions! I will be visiting again for sure!

We stopped in on a Monday evening in late October while visiting the North Conway area and had an excellent experience at Merlino’s Steak House. From start to finish, everything was spot on.

We were greeted by a friendly hostess, and our server Jaimie was right there to welcome us and guide us to a comfortable table on the second floor. The staff all worked well together, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening.

We both ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which was perfectly cooked with great flavor and generous portions. My wife enjoyed a glass of Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio that paired perfectly with the meal. The food came out hot and fresh, and every bite was delicious.

I ordered the Apple Crisp for dessert, served warm with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. My wife must have mentioned it was my birthday because Jaimie added a candle, which was a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even better.

The quality and portion size made it well worth the price. Parking was convenient and the restaurant was easy to find.

This was our first visit to Merlino’s, but it definitely will not be our last. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

After visiting Mount Washington, my family and I stopped at Merlino's Family Steakhouse, and it was an amazing experience! 🌟

We ordered the Cowboy Steak, Alfredo, Onion Rings, and French Fries around 3:30 PM, after lunch hours. The service was excellent — our server was very attentive and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. The food was delicious; everything we tried was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.

I checked the reviews on Google and saw they have a 4-star rating, but in my opinion, it deserves higher. Of course, in some restaurants there can be less smooth moments, especially during peak hours, but you should consider all aspects of this place — the cozy atmosphere, the quality of the dishes, and the professionalism of the staff.

My personal rating is 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — for the comfort, food, staff, and service. I highly recommend visiting this place, trying the food, and experiencing it for yourself. To the owner and the staff: thank you, and keep up the great work!

Clean nice atmosphere. We were greeted and seated quickly. Staff is friendly, and did well. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and everythung was served at the right temperatures. We had the filet Oscar medium and chicken parm. We will definitely return.

After reading some of the unfavorable reviews, I was a little nervous about trying Merlino's but our experience was very good. On a Sunday night with only two servers, they provided excellent service with a smile. We ordered the prime rib medium rare, and it came cooked to perfection. The side salad that we ordered was larger than expected and very fresh.

Loved it. Had the prime rib and it was tasty - I rarely, rarely eat red meat. The apple crisp was a nice treat too. Overall, it was terrific and the prices were on par for what we received. I really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.
