Randomly picked for my husbands birthday dinner and really pleased with his choice. Our server Marlene was attentive and pleasant, upfront about there being several large parties when we asked to not order our entrees right away. All our food was piping hot and excellent.

It’s really hard to rate this because we love merlinos. We eat here everytime we come, but unfortunately after tonight it will be our last. My 8 year old had an allergic reaction at dinner, which ended with an epi pen in the car. We didn’t even finish dinner, took off to Walgreens to get Benadryl, left our credit card and came back to get it. He has a finned fish and sesame allergy. He ordered a hot dog… and a side salad- just lettuce and honey mustard. Our sever was amazing, and seemed genuinely concerned with our sons allergies.. also, shout out to the female server downstairs in the bar area who got my son a water / to go cup and checked for Benadryl. It’s hard for me to believe that his allergies were taken seriously, as in.. the kitchen definitely had cross contamination somewhere, or didn’t change gloves.. ect. We just recently had blood work and his food allergies are well managed. As a former restaurant worker, I know allergies can be a pain and some people are truly over the top, but that isn’t the case here… we aren’t those people, and we know what he can eat.. pure laziness could’ve killed my 8 year old. On top of that, the least they could’ve done is comp the kids meal… I know that’s what I would’ve done.

We went during a slow night, so it was unusually quiet, but the food was tasty and our server was absolutely lovely. The menu has a good mixture of options at different price points so you can go all out or be more frugal and have a lovely meal either way. There's something for everyone too, so if you have picky family or children you'll all walk away satisfied.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options on the kid's menu, but my picky eater wasn't interested in those and we still found things she wanted to eat. The pretzel bites appetizer and a side of fries were a big hit.

Took my wife out here and when you first walk in it smells old and musty and you continue to smell it when you’re seated. Server was very nice and normal like any other server would be, overall service was good. Food was alright to a point that the ribs were fall off the bone good but it felt like it was only seasoned in one spot, the rest though wasn’t seasoned well. Lighting is very low, carpets are old and is probably where the musty smell is coming from. The place feels very dated compared to other places nowadays.

Ordered pot roast it was awful! The meat looked gray. I then ordered a filet and that was awful! No taste and chewy! My husband ordered prime rib he didn’t eat that so we left hungry! Don’t go there!

Tried this place on a whim after doing some Christmas shopping. Although we had a hiccup with overcooked filet, the waitress went above and beyond to fix the mistake! And it turned out delicious. My wife’s prime rib was perfect, as was my daughter’s ziti, and the cocktail shrimp were HUGE!! Hands down will be back the next time we are in town, and will recommend it to anyone going out this way!
