Our server was a bearded man with a clown tattoo on his leg. He was very rushed, abrasive, rude, forgetful, and non compassionate.When he first "greeted" us, he threw silverware at us and knocked my water over over my phone and my lap. He didn't even apologize. He just threw me his towel and proceeded to ask us what we wanted. Still no apology, but I could tell he was flustered.Throughout the rest of the meal he would just slide water refills across the table to us without saying anything. He never asked us if we needed anything or if everything was fine. He spoke aggressively as if we were not customers.

Wir haben hier am 24.09.2023 super urig gesessen und sehr typisch und original amerikanisch gegessen. Ich hatte den Smokey Burger und ein 14 Pigs Ear. Nadine hatte den Caesar Salad und ein Blue Moon. Alles mega lecker und klasse serviert. Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und wir hatten einen tollen Abend nach einem langen Tag auf der Straße.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I really feel like I should warn people about this place. It's kind of a tourist trap. The place is really cute and the decor is really woodsy which is great for the area - we loved it. Our waitress was really sweet, but the food was... not great. My husband had a burger, and I had the baked haddock. His burger was just ok, and my haddock had a weird taste. I don't think the fish was bad... I didn't get sick, but it just wasn't right. I didn't bother saying anything to the waitress just because I didn't think it was worth complaining about. After sharing our experience with other business owners in the area, however, we found out that we were not alone. Nothing personal to this place, there's just a LOT better food in the area for the same price or better.

North of Border
First restaurant we visited during our short stay in North Conway 2 weeks ago and the best. The cocktail (Trail Side Breeze) was perfect, the sandwich (River Runs Fish Melt) so good, the fries golden and delicious. Staff is awesome and the decor is a hoot. Even the menu presentation is fun. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return there when back in town.
