My chowmein flooded my whole plate soaked my rice and egg roll way too much juice in it!
I was on hold for 25 minutes before I finally hung up and showed up to the restaurant to order to go.
And they forgot the 2 pints of duck sauce I ordered even though the man who packed it told me he made sure everything was packed correctly, “Including the sauces”
I don’t recommend ordering takeout from them. If I could leave 0 stars I would. And no chicken teriyaki.
Dined during lunchtime anticipated great food. What we received for our $35.00 was bland, disappointing LoMein. Asked specifically for M Spicy but sadly~ almost tasteless. Warm at best temperature; portion size was ok but just couldn't get over the lack luster taste.☹️
Always a good choice~ General Tsao chicken (which is rated 🌶️)... was not spicy or anywhere near it. 😕
Over breaded chicken fingers, tough beef teriyaki & pork strips. 🙁

Peking Sunrise Restaurant and Lounge serves Asian food that generally meets expectations. While some experiences may vary, the restaurant remains a local hangout known for its great food, generous portions, and friendly service. The atmosphere is familiar, featuring cool lounge decor with walls and lights that reflect an authentic Chinese restaurant vibe. However, some diners have noted that the music, mainly old rock n roll, distracts from the overall experience. Vegetarian options are available, and the staff is making an effort to improve food quality. Although there have been mentions of average food quality, with some dishes like Chicken fingers being greasy and General Tso's chicken lacking sauce, Peking Sunrise is still a reliable choice for Asian cuisine in the area. Notably, when asked, the kitchen prepared sesame shrimp, which turned out to be fantastic, with huge shrimp that impressed diners. Despite some inconsistencies, the restaurant continues to be a popular spot for those seeking a satisfying meal.
