I moved to North Conway from a place that has many options for good Indian food, and I was not sure what to expect because there is not a wide selection of cultural food here. I have ordered 3 times from here, and it has been some of the best prepared, tasty, delicious and nicely spiced Indian food I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant. Try something different on the menu each time! I have never been disappointed and have branching out of my habitual go-to's to learn that I love pretty much everything they make!

The influx of bad reviews have got to be fake!! Shalimar has amazing food and I have always had pleasant experiences with the owners, such sweethearts!! Definitely try it and check it out at least once!!!

Food was delicious and plentiful. Take out order was ready when promised. Wish they were open for dine in, but understand their limitations post Covid with low staffing levels.

The price in this restaurant is so bad that with five large rice in the menu, we can buy like two full bags of

I asked for cauliflower to be well done. When the guy promised Punjabi home style well done, I said I will try to cut it before I take it. No cilantro, no ginger. Brought it well-packed and went berserk when I wanted to open it. Their naan is no naan, but tandoori roti with no butter on it. They don't have seating arrangement, because American help is too expensive and indian help asks for living arrangements. They hardly got any customer in the time the next door Thai restaurant got 10s of customers. The wife came out supporting growling husband. The daughter was their ugly spokeswoman, old enough to have her own household, but who would marry her?

Food was so bland. It DID NOT “Add some flavor to my vacation”. Had to visit this place just because it was the only Indian Restaurant around New Hampshire. Mango lassi was good though.

Don’t go to this place ever. Better eat some pizza or chipotle. The owner disrespected all of his customers. We ordered food for $100 or so as we were coming from long distance and no Indian restaurant near us.We ordered chicken biryani- they just poured some red chilli powder. We couldn’t even eat one spoon. We all got stomach pain. Rice was kind of pulao. The chicken masala is very sweet. They just added some ketchup or something. We couldn’t eat that too.Veg pakora is worst of all. Not cooked at all.Garlic nan is not so good.Owner was too rude and not even taking our feedback. In reverse he lecturing us saying this is my recipe and I look like this only.

We go to North Conway a few times each year and every time I look forward to ordering takeout from Shalimar. We have never been disappointed in the food, love the naan, no complaints here and I am somewhat of a foodie.

So there is no dine in here but just take out. Talking about food, we ordered shahi paneer and daal makhni along with garlic naans. The food is horrible, really wonder how could someone can't even make a simple daal or could screw it up. The order was around $64. And was a waste of money and every effort to find and reach this place.
