Watched an employee clean silverware by hand with a sponge, no water, in view of guests. A total turnoff.

Food and service was Superb. I got a veggie omelet with home fries. Super nice staff. Love the local decorations of all the chickens and other art! Calm atmosphere. Definitely unique. Love.

Went on a Monday rainy morning and did not wait long. Not much tables so come early to grab a seat. I loved the way this restaurant has been set up. The hospitality was excellent. We ordered lobster benedict and duck sausage, fresh and delicious. If you’re a foodie they have great options for sausages like duck and elk. Hope we can come North Conway again and sit on the balcony deck on a crisp blue sky morning.

Good place for breakfast, nice decor and waitstaff. If they are busy, Service is slow with only 1 waitress and 1 cook. Balcony seating to watch downtown if available.

I had to write a review because this place was that good. We sat on the balcony deck on a crisp blue sky morning. After every bite of breakfast I took, there was the mountain view in the distance. The eggs were cooked perfectly and had a fresh taste. Buttermilk biscuit with sausage gravy was tasty and not salty which was perfect. The bacon was crispy and the homemade applesauce with cinnamon was a great way to finish a savory meal. My husband loved his scrambled eggs with homemade hash, also he raved about the taste of the toasted rye bread, and he is a big bread guy. Our server couldn’t have been nicer to us, filling our coffee cups and checking on us to see if we were good, which we were! 5 star experience for sure!

Service was a little slow, due to them being short staffed, and having one cook out, the day we were there.

Had a meal there this morning with my wife. My wife had French toast and bacon and me, having a dodgy stomach only had dry toast. The bill came to $26!!! When asked I recrystallised least 3 explanations why it was so expensive. Got fed up, paid and left. Which your bill. It can be totally fiction

Literally one of the worst custom experience I ever had! Food takes forever to arrive, even if the palce is half full. Then the waiter guy is the worst, he is not capable of apologizing and making you feel welcome... hard to understand why the owners keep such low level service

Wheelchair accessibility: none!

I sat out on the balcony, weather and scenery were perfect. The food was outstanding, as was Karen's service!

A hidden gem in North Conway. Saw it in passing and a quick staircase to the cafe unearthed a breakfast place I never knew existed. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. If you wanted to sit out on the balcony that overlooks the main drag, that is also a possibility with first come, first serve availability.

AFTER TEN YEARS IN NORTH AMERICA, I EXPERIENCED MY FIRST "GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM" COMMENT—BY A WAITER, IN FRONT OF MY CHILD. My husband, son and I came for a quick breakfast before a hike. Although we were seated quickly, it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When we asked about the delay, the waiter rudely responded, “So what can I do?” We asked to cancel, but he said the food was on its way, so we waited.

When the food finally arrived, it was average at best. Our bill was incorrect—we were overcharged for items compared to the menu prices (e.g. oatmeal listed as $6 on the menu was charged at $12). After pointing this out twice, and receiving no apology, the waiter told us, “The menu hasn’t been updated in years.” When we expressed our frustration, he said, “OK, but don’t come back here again.” When my husband replied that we wouldn’t, the waiter’s final words were, “Go back where you came from.”

We moved to the U.S. after earning our PhDs and have been working in biomedical research for years. Our son, who was born here, witnessed the whole incident. I don’t expect the waiter to learn from this (I don't believe people who make such comments can), but I want to warn others to avoid this place. We will never return and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
