This place is very mid. Traveling from out of town and really craving some pasta. The food was ok. I could make it better at home, which is always disappointing when it comes to dining out. It was fine. I think what got me was the price. $100 for an appetizer and two entrees. Also, they had Toasted Ravioli which excited me being a STL native. But they came out smothered in marinara sauce, which defeated the purpose of having crunchy toasted ravs.

All in all, we left full with a little left overs, but I wouldn't have gone there if I knew the price was going to give us the just ok quality of food. Nothing to write home about.

Food was OK but nothing special. As often the case in America, nearly every sauce has cream added and pasta overcooked.
Service was bizarre with a real reluctance to allow us to try the wines or beers even though they were all available by the glass, and waiter kept apologising for the chef/bar staff.

We have been coming here every fall for the past ten years a party of seven . This is by far the worst experience we have ever had ! My meal came out after every had finished their meals which was clams and fettuccini. The meal wasn’t comped other staff were clearing plates even though people were still eating their meals . They were rushing to get us out of the restaurant.After we paid our bill and still left a tip we complained to the Host who got the waitress Janet whom was our waitress BTW . We explained we were upset her a set was you ate some of your meal so I had to charge you . WOW ! We won’t be back you just lost seven loyal customers as a result . Being a former waiter I would have at the very least comped the meal . This place has gone way downhill from previous experiences . Oh I neglected to say they add a three percent surcharge on the bill prior to us paying cash which a person in our party brought to their attention..

The price are not making any sense, the food is good but not worth the price
A. They adding 20% tip
B. They added without any notice 5$ for the fact that my mom didn’t want to eat so she took a small plate to share a bit of food
C. They added without any notice 8$ for a bit of mozzarella

Good service and atmosphere, overpriced
Food is mediocre at best, very unbalanced, the dishes were either too salty or drowning in cheese.
Chicken parm comes with a thick cheese layer on top which is really not adding to the dish.
Not a lot of Italian options in the area unfortunately.

We came to celebrate my BD. Even you left a nice note on the table. BUT - the service was not good enough nor the food. The fish has a bed taste. We told the waiter but he didn't really care. Overall it was over priced.

Overpriced food and week drinks. They now implement a three percent credit card fee. There's a sneaky 5 dollar splitting fee that's not listed on the menu. Also, don't relax because they will rudely remind you there is a time limit. The place has lost its luster for me, won't be returning.

We've been going to this restaurant since opening day, and it NEVER disappoints. We just love it! Everything is prepared with the freshest ingredients, and you can taste the LOVE!!!

Been dining here for many years and always satisfied. From the greeting at the desk to our server, Gilsonite, the service was warm & welcoming and knowledgeable. Of course, the food was top level. No need for a doggie box, only a couch. Love Vito Marcello's!

Been going for many years but gone are the days of the endless salad and bread. Now you get charged if you want. The prices have gone up and portions down but the taste is still great!

Disappointing to say the least. Had a reservation for a month, show up early with plans to have a cocktail while we wait. Oh no bar seats are reserved. Told my table won’t be ready until the reservation time in roughly an hour. Ok go across the street for cocktail and appetizer. My phone rings and miraculously my table is ready just 15 minutes since I was told it would be an hour. We would have waited. Go back a little before 7, oh no had to give our table away so won’t be ready until 7:15. We left unhappy and would not recommend this place. Interesting others were coming in for a table and when told there was a wait but no where to wait just looked at each other. As I said at the beginning very disappointing.

Could fault dinner at this long established restaurant. The pasta was so light and tasty and the desserts were amazing. Had dinner and drinks at the bar. The bar tender and server was so attentive and welcoming. Strongly recommend going here if in North conway
