“In 2019 I left California and traveled around America sampling pizza - The Great American Pizza Tour, as it's known on IG. One of the places I most looked forward to was a return to this outpost of the regional pizza chain that my parents had so often brought me to as a child. Papa Gino's is not always perfect, there are good days and bad days - but what truly made this return visit special was the fact that they are still playing the same selection of songs from the 90s. That is magical and I hope to hear that again in the future when I return. All things accounted for - aside from Slice House in California and to some extent, Joe's Pizza in NYC - Papa Gino's is the greatest regional pizza chain in America, because of it the people of New England have a slightly closer connection to what is good pizza, whereas most other places around America have local spots with no slices ... Because they know that the quality of their slice is not a standalone product that will inspire you to buy the whole pie. Be grateful for Papa Gino's ... But note to corporate. There are a lot of New England transplants in Los Angeles, consider opening a flagship location. It will do well“

“Hardly five stars. Deleted my complaint . Nice owner. Charged me 3 times for 2 pizzas. Guess she needs 64 bucks more than me. I find that to be poor business and the woman could not even be bothered to contact me. Will never go back nor will I recommend the place. Too bad cause the pizza was not bad and Jess is quite lovely. Owner should take customer service lessons from her. My previous complaint was deleted!!“
