As a Derry local we have visited this sub shop at least 50 times. Until recently the product quality has been good to very good. However, lately the volume of sandwich "fillings" like the amount of cold cuts, etc. is shrinking, while the prices are steadily increasing. This has gotten more unacceptable in the past year or so. We are trying out new alternatives to USA subs.
I have been in Derry for 20+ years, this last year especially, the food as gone downhill. I ordered the chickenparm sub which used to be home made now is processed chicken patties and tasteless sauce.....I've been trying to give them more chances but I think it's time to throw in the towel on this place
I feel that now that Carl has retired the attitude of the employee's has changed for the worse. I walked in tonight, 3 men sitting at tables waiting for their food. I walked up to the counter and some girl said to me before I even ordered, we are very busy it's going to be 45 minutes before we make your order. So I ordered anyway because I drove 30 minutes to get there. Anyway 5 minutes later they call me for my order. I really felt like they did not want any more business...
