Ok, so I ordered their bucket of Seafood chowder along with 2 desserts... the bucket costs 22 and change. In the past, the size of this was a large, white plastic pail with enough in it for 3 or 4 people to have a bowl! I just ordered it on doordash and it arrived in a plastic container the size of a large chinese soup container... apparently they still call it a bucket, or they have reduced the size and kept the high price... i like 99, but this is a ripoff for that price...
I LOVE 99 food here. I am fussy eater & I LOVE certain things: 99's cheeseburgers, crispy Southern Fried Chicken breast with CARROTS & mashed taters & turkey dinner with stuffing, HOT! gravy & cranberry sauce (YUMMOOOO!) One side of the dining area (the right side of the bar always has loud obnoxious drunks). The left side is more quiet where you can relax and enjoy your meal especially for the price you end up paying in the end. I never had any issues with the quality of food or service. When you drive a construction truck for work 6 days a week, you shouldn't have to listen to or tolerate it.
