“So I've been ordering take out from forgartys for years. Now, back then the food was very bland and the to go orders were constantly getting messed up. I'm talking every single time I picked up there was something missing or completely wrong. I've finally edited my review to match with current times and I must say after 6 years from my last review things have drastically changed. As new cooks and new staff have filtered through things have taken a turn for the better. The food is actually pretty tasteful and "knock on wood" but the staff have been better at double checking what should be in the take-out bags.“

“Amazing brunch today!!! We do not live in the area, but had been in for dinner a couple times and it was great. We both had the prime rib hash skillet, which had huge chunks of prime rib and potatoes topped with two eggs and sausage gravy. Added a yummy grilled biscuit on the side. 🔥 hands down best breakfast we have had in a long time“

“Where do I begin?…I have been a customer for over 40 years. Their pork pies, maple rounds, maple cakes, rustic bread, chicken salad, etc…. My dear friend Robert, is visiting from Virginia for the month of June. We usually visit at least three times weekly. I fear we’ll starve now😔 Seriously, everyone here is wonderful, from the daughters to the servers and others. I feel like I’m saying goodbye to family. My son knows how much I love you and got me my last maple birthday cake last month. I savored every single bite 😋. I wish all of you health and happiness in your future endeavors. Dover will not be the same ❤️“
