He invited us into their industrial kitchen in Dover, just Greg and I, and cooked (what felt like) their entire menu in front of us. Everything from shrimp to a rack of lamb to beef tenderloin to appetizers. Prosecco, red wine, desserts. We’re big food people – this tasting alone was one of the most unique experiences we’ve ever had. And it didn't feel like a sales pitch.Pre-planning:Victoria and/or Liz immediately responded to any questions. Everything was organized. We encountered a few challenges (like us having to change venues unrelated to catering – the WA was our outside caterer) and they did everything possible to accommodate. There were no surprises or gotchas in their pricing: the company was transparent and reasonable. Both my husband and I felt like were dealing with honest brokers.Wedding Day:Everything went according to plan. The food was excellent (we asked Jay to prepare beef cheeks for the meat, and they accommodated). It was probably the first wedding we’ve been a part of where the guests left full. Chef Jay walked out of the kitchen and talked to Greg for a few minutes, congratulated us. They didn’t just serve food, they really added something to the day.This is a very special business that we hope to use for other “life” events. The owners care about their customers and it really sets the entire culture of the company. You’ll get everything you pay for and more by supporting the White Apron. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

The entire staff is incredible, but I have to tell you that Victoria is a superstar. This past weekend we used The White Apron to cater our daughter's wedding. I not only recommend The White Apron, but I would never use anyone else after the fabulous experience we had with them. To start, the food was amazing...people could not stop commenting on how fabulous everything was. The appetizers, the bar service, our dinners (all served hot without delays) were just over-the-top. My daughter's favorite were the mini tacos, which I was slightly reluctant to serve at a wedding, but ended up being my favorite appetizer! In addition, the communication we had with Victoria made me (as a first time "mother-of-the-bride") feel like things were being done with care and thought. She answered every question I had and was able to accommodate all our special requests...my husband was particularly pleased to be able to have a certain IPA he liked added with no trouble! We used White Apron for a corporate event up in Moultonborough, NH and had a great experience using them! We got so many compliments on the food from the attendees and the staff were very helpful onsite and pleasant to work with.You do need to rent your own materials when using them, including plates, cups, utensils, serving materials, linens, etc. So it is not full service in that aspect, however they are very helpful to provide recommendations of who to work with to rent these items from, and exactly what you will need to get for your menu & quantity of people.

Thrilled that we picked White Apron for our wedding- they did a wonderful job and everyone is still raving about the food. We're big foodies and love cooking so our expectations were high but White Apron still exceeded them. White Apron worked with us for our welcome dinner and wedding celebration the following day and executed both perfectly. Friday night some guests arrived late and the White Apron were able to bring out the extra food for them. The bartenders were excellent and enthusiastic about our collection of speciality whiskeys that we can picked for the event. Victoria was SO amazing with all the planning, I can't count how many e-mails and calls we exchanged. She was always so prompt and helpful. White Apron was extremely accommodating to very specific dietary needs for my husband's family and some additional guests. One guest who is celiac said they never ate so well at any formal event- they were able to make modifications and the food was held to the same standard as the rest of the guests.
