There is food, and then there is great food. Bamee serves the latter every single time. They don't make authentic Thai, Japanese, or Viet food. Instead, they embrace fusion and I love to see it. Only food place in Seacoast I still think about after leaving the US.

Bad chairs, but great food! Try the Panama curry with crispy pork. It's great!

Maybe the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Had the Bamee Hang and just enjoyed every bite. Very efficient, friendly service, too. Absolutely worth the high rating....

my favorite restaurant ever, for both food and people!i consistently go here as a unh student with a gluten allergy and i have never had any issues. i also always order my dish the same, without peanuts (my boyfriend is allergic), and the one time i ordered online and didn’t indicate it, they CALLED me to make sure i didn’t want peanuts. the most kind and genuinely incredible people ever. thank you bamee!!

One of my favorite spots in the area. Probably the best authentic Thai food around.

By far the best restaurant in the area and one of the best in New England. Food is delicious, service is fast and friendly; with an open kitchen that lets you see every dish coming out. While Bamee is located in a New England college town, the flavors of everything from the Panang Curry to the Tom Yum Soup come straight from Pichit. Personal favorites include the Gra Prao with ground chicken and the Thai Ice Tea but whatever your preference - from crispy tofu to Pa-Lo pork belly - you'll enjoy a dish prepared with the best ingredients. Can't wait to try their new location opening in Portsmouth, NH soon.

Although the food is seasoned and prepared nicely and with fresh ingredients, the portion sizes are kind of a joke for the price. If you gave more it would be fine. If you charged less it would be fine. I don't find value here anymore.

This place is firing on all cylinders, friendly staff, great food, killer drinks, and an intriguing rotation of specials. We're very lucky to have two excellent Thai places right across from each other here in Durham. The Tom Kah Noodle soup is amazing.
