“The Freedom Cafe has been my go-to place this year. The people are so welcoming and friendly. Angie is always all smiles and somehow remembers most of the patrons' names (how does she do that??). I love the ambiance - good music and great vibes. Amazing drinks (the Almond Joy latte and the tiramisu latte are both oh so good!) and delicious healthy fresh food (my favorite is the 2-egg omelet with pico de gallo and spinach). Durham is so lucky to have this place. I will continue to make the drive from Dover.”

“I went to the Campus Creamery because I saw the sign for cherry dip and I like to try vanilla soft serve with cherry dip whenever I get a chance. The staff had a little trouble with the cherry dip and when I told them I was going to put a picture of it on google reviews they said let’s try that again. I was very appreciative and the second cone came out very nicely. The cherry flavored dip on the vanilla cone was very tasty. I would definitely recommend it. My only complaint would be that $1.50 for dip is expensive.”
