Greg (pretty sure that’s his name, but if not, he deserves the title anyway) was outrageously pleasant—basically customer service with a personality. The atmosphere? Comfortable enough that you forget you’re next to a train station. The staff? Friendly enough that you’ll want to come back even if you’re not hungry. The muffins? Absolutely dangerous—I meant to take a bite and accidentally auditioned for ‘Disappearing Act: Bakery Edition.’ They also serve sandwiches, which I didn’t get a chance to try this time, but if they’re anything like the coffee and muffins, I may need a season pass. I said half, and he cleverly put mayo and oil on just half, with extra on the side for later. Talk about a genius move to avoid a soggy sandwich! And let's talk about this beast of a gluten-free sandwich!“

“I’ve been working for companies at Pease on and off for a dozen years now and Belle Peppers has been my go-to lunch spot for just as long. In addition, my company frequently orders catering from them so I don’t think I go more than a couple of days without eating something from Belle Peppers. The staff is always friendly and I’ve never had a disappointing experience. It definitely gets busy around lunchtime but if you go there regularly like me you know how to get in and get out quickly. Try the spicy chicken sandwich!“

“This is the only subway I trust in the seacoast area to have clean food. As someone with gluten intolerance salads are my go to choice (I miss the nachos) and Becca is extremely vigilant when making my food and I've never had a problem which is huge for a sub shop that has bread everywhere haha
