On my first visit to the TideLine today, I stopped by the Dahab Falafel food truck and was blown away. The menu looked fantastic—and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was flavorful, the pita was fresh and perfectly made, and the variety of sauces took it to another level. My son ordered the falafel plate, which was just as impressive. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. I can’t recommend this food truck enough and will definitely be back.

Great food, excellent portions, priced a bit high but still reasonable. Only complaint was the wait tume after ordering. Food was delicious so was worth it. Could maybe use a bit better drink selection, not everyone likes seltzers.

Came here a few times, haven’t been there lately but all my experiences have been amazing, really chill owner and answered any questions I may have (I’m new to this type of food).

Spent 48 (with tips) bucks on a plate of chicken shawarma, side of fries and two drinks. The chicken was dry over seasoned, the falafels were also very dry and blend. The fries were okay. Went back to ask for ketchup and some sauces for my daughter they tried to charge me for a dollar - not for the suave but for the container to being the sauce to the table for my kids. Honestly, the girls next door had an amazing fish tacos and great customer service. Which they were open before I gave these guys our business. I do not recommend. The chicken and falafel ended up in the bin it was so bad. But the fish tacos next door was great. We still had a great time played corn hole and enjoyed the evening. The whole patio experience is great! Look at the photo looks decent - but awefull.

The food at Dahab Falafel is outstanding, and I cannot get enough of Asi's falafel. Asi's talents as a chef are matched by his engaging personality.

Delicious and fresh! I had the hummus sandwich served on a freshly made pita with red cabbage and a tomato and cucumber salad providing the perfect amount of texture. Add the available sauces of spice, curry, or sesame and you’re in business!

I have been coming here for years. The best middle eastern food I’ve ever had. The service is quick and always friendly! Very affordable too. I would highly recommend!

Try the chicken shawarma - it was delicious!

However, the gentleman manning the food truck left a bad taste in my mouth. He didn’t acknowledge me waiting at the window for at least four to five minutes while at times standing directly in front of him. I understand he was working solo and was busy, but not even a “I’ll be right with you!”, which absolutely would have sufficed, is poor form.

Once my order was done, I asked if there were cups available for the homemade sauces they have displayed. There’s only one bottle of each so I didn’t want to take it with me to my table. I was told it was an extra dollar! $20 for an iced tea and sandwich and I’m asked to spend another dollar on a tiny plastic container? Laughable, but I would have done so. When I asked if he could break a $5 for one, he audibly grumbled and told me he’d do so when he was done the order he was working on. I just walked off.

All in all, great food and drink but the service really left me feeling sour. Also, label the sauce bottles - it helps customers!

Enjoyable all around - super friendly, large and tasty portions. Dinner plater was way more than I could eat. Three self serve sauces for garnish. I personally would’ve enjoyed some veggies with this, but it was a flavorful dinner, enjoyed in a well laid out food truck area with nice tables, live music and not too crowded. Stated that chicken is stored and prepared separately. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-12
