Was told about this place from a buddy of mine that goes to UNH, the service here was fast, friendly, and the food was surprisingly cheap. The quality and taste of the food was exceptional, especially considering you can get a specialty burger, specialty fries and a drink for just $15. Quite possibly the tastiest burger you can get in the entire Seacoast, I will definitely be coming back!Parking: Parking is done from the road, but considering its near UNH campus and fraternity/sorority houses, spots can be difficult to find

Fantastic food and a decent selection of beer, wine, and ciders. The place was absolutely packed but everyone was so courteous towards each other. Love to see that! This restaurant has an order at the front and then a server comes over to bring your order type system. The service was great at the front as well as the bar. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area!

Best burger I ever had! Large, friendly, and helpful staff that was working very hard, especially in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was awesome, felt like a retro sports bar with a clean and modern twist. Definitely will be going back!

If you are expecting fast service, do not order here. We were told our order will be ready at 5:50. We ordered it at five. I did not say the ready time until we had already ordered. We came at 5:50 expecting our order, it took about 30 minutes extra. It is just upsetting because the workers were not very nice about it when we asked where our order was. I said it's not online that I was going to take until 550. And they said that they are overwhelmed with orders. A good recommendation would be to not take orders if you cannot handle it. Very upsetting. Good food but not good customer service. I would've asked for a refund, but they all seem very stressed out.

The burger was incredible and cooked perfectly but the fries that came with it didnt seem fresh and were almost completely cold. The draft selection was incredible, the dining room was clean, and the staff was otherwise great.

Great food, great beer….. counter service model can make it hard to guarantee a table to enjoy a beer with food during their very frequent busy times.

Hop + Grind is my favorite! You can't go wrong with the Basic B. Also, very reasonably priced.

Fun, popular burger joint in a college town with vibrant artwork, couches, and an arcade machine at the entrance. Counter-service style lended even more to the casual vibe of the place. I got the belly burger with classic fries and their house made cream soda. They have a wide variety of burgers and sides, but I wasn't too impressed by the burger. Bacon and patty were tough and the fries were alright. The mozzarella sticks that pulled us into this restaurant from a ig reel were, however, fire.

The burgers were amazing. Cooked to perfection and the bun was also great. Why I don't give it 5 stars is because it's basically Hunger Games to try to get a table. You need to hover at a table that you think is leaving soon and jump on the table and hope no one else has the same idea. It was very stressful to stand close to a table while they were eating and have people do it to us while we were eating. They need a host that takes names when people come in.

Super delicious craft burgers. Pretty decent craft beer selection too. I ordered the mushroom burger, and the bartender was very considerate to ask if it was OK that their fries are cooked in tallow (it was totally fine with me; I'm more of a flexitarian and sometimes simply choose vegetarian options while dining out because they sound good). The burger itself was outstanding flavorwise, although it was messy to eat (the fries were also amazing). Hop + Grind is priced more than fairly too, which I think is because they're smack dab in the middle of a college town and know that their main clientele are broke university kids looking for a decent local meal. Man, do they deliver!

What an amazing little burger joint! I stopped in at a very quiet time of day (2pm on a Friday) and was so pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. I got the Basic B Burger which is such a laughable name because this burger is anything but BASIC! The pickles, crispy onions and hop sauce just took it over the top. I also had the Honky Tonk Blues side of fries which was amazing. SO many toppings. The hot honey was a nice touch. My son had the Cherry Bomb side and I think I actually liked that one better due to the cheese sauce. But I don't think you can go wrong except to not get some jazzed up fries.

Good and innovative variety of burgers. Nice selection of beers. This is one of those places (which unfortunately is becoming more common) where you do the work of the waitstaff yourself, yet they ask for a tip on their ipad screen at the counter when you pay. Ummmm no.

Loved it. Lively atmosphere with fantastic food and a great beer selection. Reasonably priced with decent portions. There are a few free 1 hour spots near it, but expect to pay for parking in the area.
