Had Pauly’s Picket for the first time today! The chicken falafel combo hit the freaking spot. Honestly, it’s one of the tastiest thugs in the Durham area. Also, the jedra (rice and lentils) tastes like home to me. I’ll be coming back here any time I’m in the area for sure.

This place is amazing. I never write reviews but I have to say, their chicken is THE BEST grilled chicken I’ve ever had. The buffalo chicken is 10/10 and the servers are always incredibly nice.

The best restaurant in Durham! Food is fresh, made to order right in front of you, and tastes amazing. The service is fabulous - always friendly & kind. If you only have one chance to eat in Durham, it's got to be Pauly's Pockets!

Stopped in here for a sandwhich on my way back from Maine. So glad I came in, absolutely delicious sandwhich and the guy behind the counter cooking was so nice. I hope to come back again soon 🙂

This gyro has nothing particularly wrong with it but also nothing particularly right with it. It tastes like it’d be at home in a Subway.
Fantastic lunch spot! This was an old gaunt if my partner in college and finally got to try it. Did not disappoint.
The owner was so friendly. Telling everyone it was nice to see them.
I tried the turbo with chicken, gyro, and falafel. Both meats were juicy and flavorful. Falafels are dropped/fried to order. The veggies were fresh. I like how the falafels were smashed for easier eating. All together, basically perfect.

Paul is probably the nicest guy in town if you bump into him. The food here is excellent and an inviting atmosphere inside. I would grab lunch here every day if I lived in town.
