Crazy busy weekend, so I'm not mad that they were busy and backed up. That's to be expected on very busy weekends at the school. But I am very upset that I was told 30 minutes when I ordered, and then had to wait an hour and 31 minutes to get the sandwiches. They have to be better about estimating wait times! If they told me the wait to was over an hour, I would have thanked them politely, and found someplace else to eat.

i come here for breakfast everyday, amazing food and amazing service.
me and my partner have been coming here for years, we love the food, we are always very kind as service industry ourselves, and we always tip 25%. the staff is very friendly but they NEVER toast my bread! it’s almost always the only modification i ask for and 9 times out of 10 they don’t toast it. today was even more frustrating because for the first time, when the bread was once again not toasted, i actually came back in and kindly asked them to remake it. in my original order, i asked for the sandwich with no bacon and when they remade it for me toasted this time, it had bacon on it! it should be standard that when you remake an order, you look back on the original ticket /: i also ordered a panini which they did not press almost at all. i work in the food industry, i really do get it, things happen, but it gets to a point where it’s just disappointing, because i do really enjoy the food. i don’t normally leave reviews but it’s been countless sandwiches just entirely untoasted for seemingly no reason. it’s always on the ticket, and busy or slow they do not do it. please do better so i don’t have to come back in every time /: i know it’s just bread but it’s very hard to get modifications taken seriously here.

GM Matt and his team are always fantastic and accommodating. I work for the Uni and The Works is our go-to lunch spot since it's so easy to order and pick it up from them. If you're placing a larger order, you can shoot them an email and they'll even write people's names on each package so you don't have to play the guessing game when distributing food. The day-old rack also offers a great deal on bagels and treats. Don't forget to sign up for the Rewards program so you can rack up points and snag some freebies.

I ordered online and picked up my Sandwhich. The guy who held the door had an awesome tee-shirt. It had a tennis club name and logo printed on it.
I told him, “Nice shirt.” He said, “Thanks, it’s from Old Navy. I don’t even play tennis.” Then I picked up my Sandwhich.
The BLT plus avocado was awesome.

I’ve been eating at The Works as long as I can remember. I’ve seen changes in management, menu, and decor. The food and staff are friendly and efficient. But today my bagel had so little cream cheese on it, I felt compelled to reach out. I still give the place 4 stars but now I’m just hungry and bummed. Ps I asked for dark toasted! That’s not a mistake
