food was trash and service was horrible will not go back. the waitress never came back to clear table or ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Ordered the fillet and shrimp an only got 5 small pieces of steak. asked to talk to the manager and of course, nowhere to be found. Disappointing !

If you're looking for a good hibachi experience, absolutely recommend Kume. It's easier to get in to compared to other restaurants in Manchester and areas, but the food is amazing, the service is great, and the experience is awesome. We love getting the filet and lobster, scallops, and chicken are great. If you're looking for a fun night out of the city, this is the place.

My husband and I stopped here frequently for lunch however, we will probably be reconsidering and not returning to this location after our experience today. We had hibachi lunch with our five-year-old son, and the waitress had a very, very hard time, taking our order for whatever reason, I’m not sure if it is a language barrier or what she seemed very inexperienced. We were sensitive to the fact that she didn’t really know what she was doing so we made sure to clarify everything with her she even returned to our table to reiterate, and clarify our order for a second Time and still got it wrong. Not surprisingly when we received our bill. It was wrong and she did not understand our order when I had asked to speak to someone about it the young girl behind the bar came over and laughed in my face and walked away, and then continued laughing afterward. Neither of those girls have any business in the restaurant business. Very appalled at how rude these people were. Being people that frequented this location I know that all three of the employees that are working there in the front of the house today are new and they are going to ruin the establishment. Hopefully the owners check these reviews out and investigate before it’s too late. We ended up paying the bill that was $30 too high, just to save the argument and get out of there as it was an awful experience. The chef was great unfortunately, with those three working in the front of the house I think it’s gonna be a total business kill

If you have kids, don't go. We put reservations in at 5:30pm in person. Went shopping to kill time. Returned at 6:50 for our 7pm reservation, only to be passed over 3x for groups of similar size who came in after us. I get it, we're not your target market for Saturday night. But we'll take our $150 we' were going to spend (plus tip) elsewhere. P.S. Go to the Woodfire Pizza joint two doors down. Foods great and friendly.

Horrible service and ok food for high end prices. save your money! We got there when our reservation were set and they made us wait an additional 20 minutes. Our food came out way different than we ordered and the staff was super unprofessional.

I've been to Kume twice. The first time for vegetarian rolls, the second for a chicken teriyaki bento lunch. The restaurant is better known for its rolls, which are good, with a variety that includes non-fish options. I was disappointed when I had the bento box. The miso soup was not hot, and the menu didn't note that the shumai contained shrimp (usually I get ones with pork or veggies; I'm allergic to shrimp). The chicken teriyaki was acceptable, and portion size reasonable for the price.

It's been a while since I've had Hibachi! I met a friend at this place, in the plaza right off Rt 101 (very convenient if you're in that area, maybe stopping at the liquor store?). There was a rather long wait for the "prepared in front of you" experience, so we opted to just sit in the regular dining room. Waitress was very prompt and friendly, taking our drink and food order. Not terribly attentive on beverage refills, but they were rather busy. The staff seems to be an "everyone helps out" style, as I think we saw half the staff dropping off food/drinks throughout our meal (not a complaint!). Food was quite tasty, and decent portion sizes. Such a different experience not having the chef cook right in front of you (for good or not!). Price is pretty reasonable. Overall, I'd definitely revisit when looking for hibachi.

Hadn’t been there for awhile, used to love it. 10 of us were sat down. Cook was not fun or interactive, food was overcooked, and we were basically rushed. Don’t think we’ll be going again.
