I've been to Kume twice. The first time for vegetarian rolls, the second for a chicken teriyaki bento lunch. The restaurant is better known for its rolls, which are good, with a variety that includes non-fish options. I was disappointed when I had the bento box. The miso soup was not hot, and the menu didn't note that the shumai contained shrimp (usually I get ones with pork or veggies; I'm allergic to shrimp). If you're looking for a good hibachi experience, absolutely recommend Kume. It's easier to get in to compared to other restaurants in Manchester and areas, but the food is amazing, the service is great, and the experience is awesome. We love getting the filet and lobster, scallops, and chicken are great. If you're looking for a fun night out of the city, this is the place.
