“I had lived in Epsom for 35 years down sized and off to Pembroke I can tell you this I eat more subs from all over New England I stoped July 5 at 5 pm and I thought I was in a different restaurant that I have used for 35 year the place was immaculate nothing out of place the floors with the cleanest I’ve ever seen I ordered a large Italian loaded to go got Home and notes way I Said to my wife boy that place I have never seen it that clean back home I ate that sub and said omg this sub is the best I have ever in my 74 years I had to call them ant tell them it was the best Italian I have ever had loaded with meat and veggies omg they said their dad bought the. Bussiness I said you tell him I said he’s got the best Italian in the state so thank you for you service and making that sub A+++++ I’ll drive the ten miles to keep coming back. “Such a great find in a little town! Everyone greeted my family with a smile and while new to town we felt immediately welcomed. Dawn was awesome and knows the menu very well. While I want to say my family cleared our plates, the portions were so large we all walked away full and with food for later. Everything was amazing, the kids had pizza while I tried the chicken cordon bleu, I can't begin to tell you how incredible the sauce is. Great home cooking and a welcoming atmosphere, I will be back again with my family. Nicely done Charlie!“

Every detail from the food, plating, greeting at the door, smiles from Lindsey, servers like Fiona, chefs like Allister, mixologists like Adam and the wonderful taproom girls Lola and Trish consistently have warm greetings and make it feel like a dear friend is getting you a drink from their bar. I’ve brought many friends to visit, have the delish pizzas and phenomenal craft brews. I’m grateful to know the folks who own and pour their soul into feeding yours. “Tired from attending NASCAR race . Delighted we came across Veanos . Obviously a local favorite as the staff called many of customers by name . Dinner came quickly delivered by a very lovely attentive server . Two of us had meals of spaghetti, salad, 1beer , bread , side of sweet potatoes fries ( large portion done perfect ) and huge vegetarian sub . All for just less than $38.00 !!!!! Fantastic price for warm welcoming restaurant! Oh Im Italian and I recommend !“

“I called in on Saturday morning 1/4 around 10:40 am and the girl who answered was very sweet and super helpful. I called in a large order for a party for 5 pm. She went through all the types of pizzas they had and deals. It made the call very smooth. The pizzas were ready on time and tasted delicious! We tipped for the help and great service.“

“Sunday mid morning and The Eggshell is full and moving along, coffee is excellent, Crystal our wonderful waitress went above and beyond.. The man in the kitchen cooking the food was sooo nasty. We ordered eggs bene and the eggs were soooo runny I think they hit the water for 3 sec so nasty mushie.. The guy cook was busy rolling his eyes at everything,. 2nd plate eggs and kielbasa, w/ raisin toast.. my gosh another easy plate nope not for this guy.. toast burnt beyond toast , eggs not cooked to scrambled burnt. all of this after an hour wait just for food... What was a staple for Sunday breakfast will now be reconsidered“
