This is a real pub … a pub’s pup - with a strong Gaelic influence. Food is great. I like the fish’n chips and the Irish stew (sorry, no soda bread). The Guinness is on tap at the right temp and the barkeep knows how to pull it. They have Celtic music, sea shanties and, once a month, comedy.

Cozy friendly environment. The food was amazing, crafted by some very talented chefs. There is something for everyone on the menu with available options for people with allergies. The service was kind and attentive. Well worth the trip or visit.

All around awesome! Looking for a beer or a beer and a meal, super friendly staff and the food is stellar!

We were allowed to get a table 30 mins before time of open! I love the vibe and the ambiance! Loved the gravy on the Poutine. I also was impressed with the presentation of the meal. Beef stew was my favorite!!

Food was good. But 3 out of 3 times weve done an online order, they get our food wrong. This last time, we ordered a smash burger with onions and pickles, no sauce. We got a completely plain burger with none of the onions or pickles that we were charged extra for instead. They left a big ol' bay leaf in the Shepard's pie. And we ordered a french onion soup, but got something totally different- i think maybe it was a beef stew?? We really wanted to like this place, but who ever is working in the kitchen needs to learn to read orders better. I think after 3 times, we are officially not going back.

I took my husband and oldest son here for fathers day it was an awful experience. There was a lot staff not working one kid trying to do everything. We ordered drinks never got them had to ask 3 times for water the food was ok. Worst Irish pub we have ever been to. We definitely dont recommend nor will we ever go back.

Industry worker here so I know accurate reviews are everything. This place was a nice suprise. Off day at my kitchen so naturally I found myself looking for an irish pub and found Waterhorse just in time for first call. I'm picky as hell with Guinness and they had a perfect pour, 👌 10/10. I'm not a big fan of huge menus, but at the same time everything sounded awesome. I enjoyed the idea of a sampler for indecisive people like myself. Plenty of options all sounded tasty and I enjoyed reading through it all. We went with the fried Pickles. Highly suggest snacking on those. The horseradish aioli was perfect. I had to try their fish and chips, the scooped chips were perfectly seasoned and hearty. Fish was light and crispy, normally I go for a thick crispy beer batter but their lighter recipe was really good. Wasn't huge on the coleslaw, and the tartar was alright but I'm biased when it comes to my own stuff. It was perfectly fine and honestly I didn't realt need either side or sauce cuz that fish was perfect. My partner got the smash burger and fries. Also awesome. Can't go wrong with secret sauce and a smash patty. I particularly enjoyed the little details this place had too. The painting above the bar and general esthetic was just the type of vibe I love sitting in. The burger bun stamp was a nice touch. Our bartender was fast and friendly. I'd love to go back on a busy night to see how things go but seems like a really awesome place to have around town. Next time I pass through we will for sure be back. From one chef to another; great job yall. 👏 snagged some stickers and will be telling people to go check out Waterhorse if they are in the area. Much love from Coopershill crew ❤️ Sláinte!!

We stopped here in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. I wondered if “pub” meant mostly alcohol with bar snacks, but this is like a real Irish pub, with really good food. Clean, nice window seating, really pleasant staff, and delicious sandwiches.

Amazing! The menu is expansive with options for the whole family and featuring authentic Irish dishes aswell. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the beef stew or the fish chowder. My number one choice of restaurant any time I'm in Franklin. (Choose this over Vulgar Brewery)

Awful experience, took literally an hour to get our drinks and we only got em because after seeing them being ignored at the end of the bar we went up to the bar and got them ourselves. Took an hour and a half to get appetizers and when we finally got our food it was cold. We watched as multiple tables hit up and left it was awful. Will not return.
