“My dear friend, Joy, told me about Zekes Sweets. She mentioned a wonderful peach pie she had had from this family owned bakery in Franklin. So we decided to take a ride check it out. The delightful aroma hit us as soon as we entered the bakery and our eyes opened widely at the cases full of a variety of scones, Danish filled with cheese, blueberries and cherries. In the other case wedecided to pick out a half dozen of jumbo blueberry and raspberry muffins. So many great things to choose from, we left with our goodies to share with our friends in Gilford. There were also soups and stews to choose from for lunch and a rumor that Jocelyn was about to make her homemade whoopie pies. Great place to try with great prices. We'll be coming back soon.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this cafe! My 3-year-old and I love to visit before the park and we always have such a wonderful experience. The owner’s pup frequents the cafe (such a well behaved boy) and he is one of our favorite reasons to visit. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.”

“First time at the pub. Food was good. I had the beef stew which hit the spot. It was very flavor full. Had to take half home. You don't leave hungry. My husband had the Reuben and loved it, but had to take 1/2 home. Ordered 2 desserts, Bailey's cheese cake and bread pudding, which did not disappoint, both were good. Service and atmosphere were great. We will be going again.”

“My family of four were greeted at the door quickly by friendly smiles by several staff members and to let us know they will be with us shortly. They sat us in the back room, by request , near the piano player Kyle Dumais. Great job on the ivory and nice touch. We were greeted by our server Liberty who did a great job welcoming us again and guided us through the specials and offering drinks and appetizers. Drinks and appetizer came promptly and dinner quickly followed. Service was top notch across the board and the food was fantastic. We all enjoyed our dinner selections of chicken Parmesan , shrimp scampi , rib eye steak and 1 chicken tender plate. Whenever we are in the area again this will be our place. Thank you”

“All I can say is wow! Vs is a great place for real, fresh, authentic Vietnamese food!. I have never had a bad experience or bad food from here. From the Pho, Ramen, and the Banh Mi sandwiches are the real deal. Beef, pork, chicken, you will love them all. The Boba's are absolutely delicious! I can literally eat this food everyday. For such a smaller place, the hit big on flavor and service. For anyone in the area or coming to the area, you have to stop by and try this place out!!! Best in the state!!”

We had quite a laugh as I received more than I expected and started sorting them out.It was a very hot day and although it was early in the season I would have thought that management would have put out the umbrellas for shade and attention (advertising).”

I know from experience that working in fast food type environments can really destroy your will to live pretty quickly and efficiently, but the workers here always seem cool and upbeat. I hope they have fun.The variety of drink combinations is practically infinite, and they're always advertising some interesting seasonal flavor combo.The beyond breakfast sandwich is really great for being a prefab item that basically just gets heated up. I like it a lot with the hash browns and some hot sauce. I'm pretty forgiving and easy to please when it comes to food and beverages, though. I'd never turn my nose up at stuff that more "refined" palates probably wouldn't classify as food.Vegetarian options: The beyond breakfast sandwich is totally vegan and is very tasty. The hashbrowns are always a great side for the sandwich, too. They also have almond, oat, and coconut milks for any beverage that might have dairy milk, typically. They use Torani syrups to flavor their drinks, which are mostly vegan. Aroma Joe's website has all the ingredients and allergen info easily available if you're not sure of a specific item.”
