We brought some friends from Germany in around 7 one evening. Our server was friendly. The food took a long time to come out. There were four adults and two children in our party. Three plates came out then ten minutes passed before the rest came out. The fries on the first round were cold and were a skimpy serving as is if they were using up what the had already cooked. Maybe 3.5... The place has a very nice interior, with tin ceiling, what appeared to be original radiators, and appropriate decorations. We had small portions of fish and chips and the Guinness stew. First, the bad news: although the fish was fresh and well cooked, it was clear that they need an oil change in the fryer. Sad, really, but I marked hard on this one. Initially I ordered the Mac & Cheese & was told they were out of it. Then I ordered a Caesar salad. I asked for extra dressing. It was warm, oddly colored & had no flavor. I thought it was mayonnaise at first.
