Had a great afternoon sitting outside on the porch with friends. All the food we ordered was delicious. Downed a few wine flights and bought some bottles to go. Highly recommend.

We went for dinner this weekend with a large party and although we has to wait almost an hour to be seated, the bar atmosphere was fun, welcoming and we ordered a few wines and the time really flew by because we were having so much fun! Fantastic menu, a majority of the dishes are available gluten-free, including calamari (which was fantastic) and bruschetta. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the apps, meals, desserts and of course the wines! I had the scallops over onion risotto, fabulous! We’re coming back! Everything was reasonably priced and so in service. Highly recommended
We stopped by yesterday for the first time after eyeing it on social media for a while now and following along during their recent renovations. Let’s just say we will be back sooner than later. We had the white flight. The rose “Love”, was just that..love at first sip. I can’t wait to come back in the fall and hang by the fireplace in their soon to be new lounge area and try their reds. For food we had a few of the small plates..the Calamari, arancini, and the short rib poutine. The Demi on the poutine was amazing and you could tell instantly they used one of the wines while reducing the Demi Glaze gravy and it was out of this world. We are major foodies and we usually avoid eating anything Italian out because being half Italian himself and loving to cook we are spoiled because usually he can make it better than we are going to have out. We were so pleasantly surprised!! Every single thing we had was amazing….like absolutely amazing. The restaurant was warm, cozy and inviting, as were the owners that we met and chatted with for a while. They were so, so kind and seemed like the most genuine people and we loved chatting with them. The warm and inviting restaurant seems to be a direct reflection of them and a true labor of love. You can see their love and passion within every inch and every corner of their restaurant and property. We love supporting local businesses and owners and Living so close we are already planning our next trip back. I would highly recommend anyone give their new restaurant a try, you will not regret it. Also..if the owners see this, the garlic knots she gave to us for free to try were amazing and the perfect addition for our late night snack the the meatballs were a solid choice😍🤤see you soon!!
My husband and I found this place on a whim and decided to try it out for date night. When I say this is a hidden gem!! The atmosphere was so lovely. Picturesque, quiet, off a dirt road with no traffic passing by. Not even any music playing, just the sounds of a summer evening and quiet conversation. The staff were all very friendly and the food/wine was to die for. We tried four different wines between the two of us, two reds and two whites, and loved all of them! Appetizer, entrees, and peach cobbler with fresh peaches from the vineyard. Everything was divine. Could not recommend enough. Can't wait to go back and try them for brunch!

What a wonderful surprise to find in Gilmanton. Good food and tasty wine made for a wonderful afternoon while we were on family vacation at Shell Camp Pond.

What a wonderful find! Wife and I were looking for wineries that had food - and not just crackers & cheese. Gilmanton Winery seemed like a good bet to try. Were we ever glad we did! We happened to go on a Sunday when they were serving brunch and brunch specials.
The food was amazing! Not just for a winery, but comparable to any higher end restaurant in the area. I had the Surf 'N Turf Benedict (smoked brisket and lobster served on toasted muffins with poached eggs and hollandaise). Wife had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Although the food took a bit to arrive, but not unreasonably so. It arrived hot and fresh - so clearly any delays were likely due to a busy kitchen. Both dishes were amazing! Tasty and well balanced.
We also had two flights - one fruity and one red. The fruity flight was not at all overly sweet and the combo of Raspberry, Strawberry, Green Apple and Blueberry gave a nice range. We ended up purchasing two of the Raspberry and Green Apple on our way out. I had the red flight and the wines were a bit on the young side - but given this is a relatively new winery, still very good and I would recommend folks give it a try.
The service was very friendly with the owners clearly pitching in to help (versus other places where the owners simply sit behind a counter and bark orders). Both were friendly and clearly cared that all guests were having a good experience. We understand the restaurant had only be open for a few months. Despite this, they overall experience was very good. Finally, I will add the prices were very reasonable - (brisket and lobster dish was $25 - a very fair price for what was included!). No question, the wife and I will be back. We wish this location much success going forward.

A lovely, relaxing place to take in a gorgeous summer afternoon!!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the servers were very friendly. We had fun trying the different wines, walking the grounds, and listening to live music. We look forward to our next visit!

We recently dined for a very early dinner and we absolutely loved our wine flights and ended up each getting a glass that we loved. Everyone that works there is really nice and approachable. We had a few issues with a little bit of our food not being warm enough or a little bit overcooked, but we also understand it’s a new place. Some basic feedback I would give is to have salt and pepper on your tables and offer grated Parmesan cheese since most of the food is Italian. I think some of the young servers need a little more experience in following up throughout the meal. Overall, we really had a great time. It was lovely.

My wife and I recently went to this location for lunch. As you approach, it seems like you might be lost because it is several hundred feet down a dirt road - that is already in a fairly remote area. The grounds are well groomed and the parking is plentiful for the size of the restaurant. We ate outside and you get a nice view of the surroundings and a few vines. The food was pretty amazing. Both my wife and I loved what we ate and the cost is very reasonable. We did get the ciabatta bread with marinara sauce appetizer, so were unable to finish our sandwiches, as we ate every bite of the bread. My wife is vegetarian and I am not, and both styles of sandwich were excellent.
The wine is on par with other wines from New Hampshire. Honestly, I probably would prefer these over other offerings. If you are looking for a $40 California Cab, it is not that. But if you set your expectations, you can enjoy it well, paired with the excellent food choices. The ownership is new, so I'm curious to see what kind of wine they will make. Obviously, everything that is being served now was made by the previous owner.
This location is about an hour from my home, and I would definitely make the trip again.
