Been coming to White Mountain Cafe & Bookstore for years and it’s always been great. Unfortunately I can no longer say that about their breakfast sandwiches. I would get either the Wildcat or the Cliffhanger and they were both delicious but they have unfortunately switched from using real eggs to using preformed egg like patties. Great coffee, subpar food, although large portions.... The bookstore is really cool!
I ordered the breakfast burrito and was unhappy with it; I'M PRETTY SURE THEY USE LIQUID EGGS; the consistency was the same throughout and was quite strange and watery. Is it that hard to crack a bunch of farm fresh eggs at the beginning of the shift. I was really disappointed with that burrito... 😢

I'm not crazy about the baked goods, but the coffee is pretty darn good. Also a great selection of books related to NH wilderness. Also a great selection of books related to NH wilderness.
