My husband, myself, and two kids (4 total) stopped in around 3:50 to grab a drink and hang out. Even though only two tables had people eating we were told there was a reservation at every single other table and we could not have a table. We were advised we could "grab a drink and stay on the outskirts"... we declined the offer to stay outside of the main area to just drink a mediocre beer. It's very hard to imagine every single table was booked up since only two had people eating... bad vibes all around, did not feel welcome so we left. Hope all those tables filled up and everyone enjoyed themselves!

The brewery itself and yard are great but we always loved the food and yard until new management. They recently changed staff and waitresses are nice but the food is not as good.and the managers are r

We had a wonderful time at the tasting room on 4/24. We headed over to the restaurant after they opened for appetizers. Our Server , Jackie , was excellent. We were doing brewery crawls on our 3 night stay in NH, and Smuttynose was our favorite. We decided to go back for dinner on 4/25! Jackie was our server again and remembered us😊. She makes amazing Honey mustard - highly recommend for the pretzel appetizer! Bacon wrapped Meatloaf was the bomb! New owners and new staff- highly recommend!

Awesome experience tonight! Patio was packed and still the service was fantastic! Even better food!! They changed the menu to include Sheppards pie and meatloaf. Absolutely incredible! Can’t say enough about the service and new quality of the food!!! Please don’t go back to the old food!!! This is amazing! Will be back with friends . Beer was also incredible and server was so knowledgeable in the beer selection … made it so easy for me to find my favorite! Love this place!!!!

What an incredible place! The outdoor patio is fantastic, the food is great, and the live music absolutely amazing! Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family, especially great if you have kids or dogs, there's something for everyone here. I love that there are lawn games and a beautiful forest setting. Such great vibes, I'll be here every warm weekend!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! High chairs, kid menu, crayons, and a lot of space to run around

Food is mediocre at best and overpriced. It still is like the restaurant was an afterthought, after all these years.

Overall my experience here wad very underwhelming. I am aware post breweries are not known for high quality or fine dining cuisine, however the price of their food compared to their quality lacks immensely. The lack of flavor left much to he desired and of the 3 of us thay dined in, none of of us finished our plates. However, the atmosphere was nice and the beer/drinks were good, but that is the only redeeming quality from my experience. It is certainly not a place I would go out of my way for, but if just grabbing a beer with friends, I could still see this place as an option, but nothing really beyond that. I wish the quality of food was better so I could come again, but the taste vs price just isn't justified enough for me unfortunately.

My friend and I got there during a power outage, but we still got served. Our bartender was awesome and so was the beer!

First time visiting Smuttynose restaurant and it did not disappoint. The beer of course is great and the food was great as well. I got Chris’ Kicken Chicken which was really great! Service was a little slow, though we sat inside the bar area and our server was also a bartender.

We stopped by on a whim and was surprised there was live music and no wait. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. The wait staff was on the ball, we got seated quickly and checked on often even though they were busy. Will definitely be going back.

If you are in the area between 3-5pm Monday-Friday(Wednesday-Friday in the winter) this is by far the best placeto eat at. The happy hour specials are the best around. Food is great, beer is amazing and the place is just a fun place to be at. If you are a veteran it is also a great place to go, as they offer us discounts for our sacrifice. Gotta say I like this place alot.
