Everything was wonderful from the gracious staff, the fabulous drinks and the delicious food!

Came in for dinner after hearing about the new spring menu and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive and knowledgeable the staff were. The service was phenomenal I had my food within 10 minutes of placing an order and was greeted by the executive chef Harrison in passing. I got A chance to learn about a handful of dishes from the mind that created them which overall enhanced my experience and had me leaving with a newfound appreciation for the food I was eating. The detail in each dish and the multiple levels of flavor made this dining experience the best I've had in the entire area. As someone who follows a lot of culinary influencers and experts there are few I have seen that match up to the skills and knowledge that Chef Harrison Hicks and his team show. Chef Hicks deserves the kind of recognition and appreciation something such as the James beard award would provide.

My dinner was great. I had 2 “shared” dishes as my dinner. BUT the restaurant needs to offer more vegetarian choices! They did have a lentil dish but I was afraid it would be dull given the description.

Wonderful spot, friendly staff and ownership. Chef Harrison Hicks is doing an amazing job!

Food quality was really bad, plus poor value for money. Menu is different to that featured on the website and has changed significantly from a few years ago. Two bad experiences at this venue.

Our meals were tasty Grilled Octopus, a burger and Caesar Salad. The Hibiscus cocktail was yummy!

This was the perfect spot for Valentine's Day dinner! We sat in the back area where it feels like you are in an old time library with the walls being built in bookcases. Our server Wesley was very knowledgeable of the menu and respectful when helping us decide on on our meals. I had the special for the night, seared scallops that pared great with the golden pear cocktail! You also have to try the rolls with orange and pistachio butter they are to die for! Everything was all so delicious and we will definitely be coming here again! Thank you for an amazing night!

We had reservations and we were seated right as we arrived. We were greeted by a very attentive waiter named Vincent, who provided great service without being obtrusive. The menu was fairly limited, but there were several specials offered. We ordered two small starters, the house made rolls with special whipped butter flavored with pistachio and orange, not that you could taste either. The rolls themselves were pedestrian at best they seemed to be like store bought parker house rolls only not as good. We also ordered miso cauliflower and miso, which was supposed to be lightly fried , glazed with miso and flavored with calabrian chili and scallions. The cauliflower was undercooked and there were no scallions. There were (unadvertised) raw red onions in the dish which overpowered the entire thing. We both decided on burgers thinking they would be a safe bet. My friend ordered the special burger made with quinoa, I ordered the Murph burger. Neither was very good. There was scant toppings on the burgers, the murph had limp lettuce, remoulade sauce that reeked with horseradish, and burnt but still very chewy bacon and maybe one or two pieces of fried shallot. It was not good,. The quinoa burger had no texture and heavily garlic flavored sauce on it. Also subpar. Both were served with pave potatoes which were a grayish oil laden patty, basically a bad hash brown-but as I said gray. We each had 2 glasses of wine and the bill came to a total of $122-not cheap, and really disappointing because of the quality of food. I would not return there for another meal.

Everyone in our party of four had enjoyed earlier experiences at Murphy’s and we were looking forward to the meal that brought us together a few days ago. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The chicken wings with which we started were up to par, but the eggplant parmigiana, pappardelle vongole and cheeseburger were mediocre to poor. The eggplant was breaded (when it doesn’t need to be) and bland. The pappardelle (flat noodles) which two of us had were poorly boiled, with an inedible clump of pasta that had cooked together. The restaurant was very quiet (early evening on a Monday in late August); it was clearly NOT the case that the kitchen was busy, which makes it all the more disappointing that our meals were so mediocre.

The server, while well-intentioned, seemed poorly trained for his job (we had the impression that he was filling in for someone); he never removed used dishes until we asked him, he was not as familiar with the menu as one would normally expect a server to be.

All in all a disappointment as we had had better experiences at Murphy’s. An expensive disappointment at over $200 for four people.

Nigel greeted us like family at the door. He stopped by our table several times throughout our meal and visited briefly! The waitress was very attentive and friendly! The meal was wonderful and their Chocolate Mousse was out of this world!

Fantastic experience. My daughter is visiting from NZ and we are visiting family in the area and this was simply a wonderful treasure. Amy, our server was completely on point. Nigel the owner treated us like family. We enjoyed a delicious lobsta appetizer that complimented all of our wonderful dinners. And the dessert, well…Lets just say the chefs special…that mousse was sent from heaven, almost to pretty to eat but do…mouth joy… highly recommend.
