Was there 2 weeks in a row. Chef embarrassed himself with the portion size- but the manager saved the meal! The second week was much improved!

We had 3 different meals. Two were terrible and my salmon was just ok. I would not go back
Went after football game. Luckily we had reservations. Food was poor (at best). Our steaks were just plain bad. Both potatoes and Brussels sprouts fried and sitting in pool of oil. Server was new but forgot several things, likely overwhelmed with crowd. Alums behind us in stadium tried to talk us out of going. Wish we had heeded their warning.

Service was poor, dishes and silverware was dirt. Had an Old Fashion and it was not good and weak. Steak was good but appetizer portion very small.
Well we were disappointed by our experience of waiting over 1.5 hours for our food I will say the staff handled our situation well once we brought it to their attention. Overall a disappointing anniversary dinner during parent's weekend.
Charlie, our waiter, made the dinner a wonderful experience! Looking forward to our next visit!
Staff was friendly but our steaks came out barely warm. Sides were not hot either. It was a football weekend so they may have been busier than normal but it seems our food may have sat awhile before it was brought out. We had to ask for condiments and water refills. It may have just been an off night but we couldn't recommend based on our experience.
To expensive for what you get
Another great meal at Murphy's. We requested the quiet table facing the street, and our request was honored. Service, food, beer, all was outstanding. Murphy's is much our favorite Hanover restaurant.

Entire food experience was terrible. My son ordered the steak medium and it was beyond well done. We sent it back and it came back, in stages, after everyone else had finished their dinners. The second steak was still not medium, but was not a dry brick this time. His potatoes didn't end up being brought out until after my son finished his steak. My wife's pasta was similar to craft mac n cheese, my daughters Calamari was unevenly prepared, with some pieces breaded and others not and was overall chewy. My chicken parm was an overcooked unappetizing mess and the sauce was oddly spiced. No adjustment on the bill, just a half hearted apology. This might be a fun place to drink, but I would never eat here again.
We showed up with a group of nine. When some of the pasta showed up a bit salty, the owner came over and quickly and cordially took care of it. While the food didn’t blow us away, the owner’s warmth and kindness more than made up for the food. He even brought the kids free t-shirts! We had a lovely evening… and the chicken Parmesan that replaced the salty pasta was delicious

Nigel, the owner, was most congenial and generous in replacing some dinners that did not meet expectations. I am not sure what the response to our issues would have been if he was not there. Apparently, they discovered that the broth used for cooking was oversalted, so many meals for our party of 9 were too salty to eat. The farro risotto was not a typical risotto but just cooked farro. They were sent back and replaced. We ended up with a good dinner but no one would describe the food as fine dining.
Because the bar is adjacent to the dining area, the restaurant was noisy.
