There is a trick to this restaurant, though I haven't tried it yet. There is an authentic Chinese menu from which the owners and staff eat and an "American" menu. We requested extra ginger and extra garlic in our Mixed Vegetables (American menu). The staff member said, "Oh, you should trust the chef; too much of any ingredient will spoil the taste." Located where a few years ago a similar restaurant named Panda House was situated, Orient is an upscale Asian restaurant with upscale prices to match. Recently three of us came here for dinner. We decided to order all appetizers. We ate cold sesame noodles, siu mai, boneless spare ribs and dumplings I found everything we ordered quite bland and portions weresmall for the prices charged. The best Chinese food around the area. I grew up here and have been going to the same place since I was 2, regardless of the change of owners! The best tasting and quality around, period!
