“With a mere four days’ notice, the owners of La Piñata agreed to host a memorial celebration to honor my mother who passed away. We had initially planned a cookout at the Surry Mountain Recreational Area, but we were told less than a week beforehand that our reservation was cancelled due to flooding. Stuff happens though, and we will be forever grateful to Phillipe and Augustine for saving the day and doing an absolutely STELLAR job of keeping the food and libations flowing. Thank you. “I’ve had the steak and cheese multiple times, very good. I’ve also ordered the haddock dinner plate and it was so delicious. I like fried haddock and I love steak and cheese and I’ve always felt welcomed and appreciated when I pick up my order or when I have dined in. Great people and great food. I love small businesses, they often serve much better food, more fresh, and a cleaner atmosphere, than any corporate/chain restaurant. Definitely worth checking out.”

Consistent customer size both times and easy access onto 3 state routes. Definitely visiting again. The sign said it is open at 4am! Clean and flat parking lot that is well maintained. Interesting antique store nearby.”
