We stopped in for the first time today and everything about the diner, staff, and food was OUTSTANDING! I wish we didn't live over 2 hours away one way.

Honestly, one of the best places that my husband and I have been to for breakfast options. The food is amazing, delicious, great portions. Great price, great atmosphere great everything. I highly recommend this to anyone. There are other food options then just breakfast. Honestly, I would give them a 10-star rating. This is now one of my top favorite places to go to. I would have to say this is even better than the red arrow diner.

We got there an hour before closing, it was our first time there. I got the 2-2-2, wife got the chicken club sandwich, both with coffee. Cost was very reasonable. Hers was sooo big she had to take an entire half of it home! My 2-2-2 (2 eggs, 2 sausage-patties, 2 pancakes, with homefries) was not greasy at all, which at my age (66) means I don't have to worry about my arteries slamming shut right as I'm leaving. We will be back, as we have friends in the area that we visit regularly.

The nook diner is our go to breakfast joint, we enjoy our experience every Saturday. The atmosphere is amazing and always very clean. The staff are all super friendly and happy to help. The nook special is my go to and its always great. My wife goes with the irish benedict and she says its the best shes ever had. Whenever friends and family are visiting we bring them here because we know it will be great. 10/10 would highly recommend.

We ate breakfast at the Nook Diner this morning
Superb breakfast omelette with potato fries, toast, a side and endless coffee.

Very strange. Went in to find a seat and a very angry woman approached me yelling at me. I explained I was elderly and just looking for a seat as a friend was meeting me. She continued to verbally assault me. She had me get up from the booth I wanted and had me go to the back room.
Upon leaving a young couple approached me out side and asked if I was ok
They said I looked traumatized and were concerned.
They said the same woman yelled and treated other employees badly then talked against them to other workers.
I told them to forgive her. And just be kind but yes I felt emotionally abused.
I had gone to this diner for the past 4O years and as I remember you always seated yourself.
They left a note on their table saying for a diner that prides itself on caring for the community they did not.
I thanked them for caring enough to share with me, and to reach out to me
It was an unfortunate event.
I wanted to eat at a lovely place next to the park in Hillsboro but they are closed on Sundays.
I hope she becomes more aware of her behavior and tries to treat people better and resolve her apparent angry issues.

A great classic diner. I enjoyed an omelet filled with veggies. The potatoes were crisp and the toast was great. The coffee was delicious, I will be stopping here again when I am passing by.
