We enjoyed dinner at the Van Horn estate this week, our third visit but first with the new menu. Started with kale Caesar salad and fish chowder followed by halibut and locally sourced steak (ribeye), all delicious. The lobster pappardelle, which we had on a prior visit, is still on the menu and highly recommended with generous lobster portions. We did stay at the Inn for 2 nights and dined in the room for breakfast each morning and dinner one evening. The breakfasts were wonderful, hot and delicious. Service was outstanding. We also dined in the Van Horn Room for dinner one night and food and service were outstanding. We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at the Van Horn dining room. The steak tartar was one of the best I’ve ever had! I had the signature Hot Pink martini which was incredible—perfect balance of sweet and spicy! I had my own gluten free roll which was great. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience!
