“After driving by Walter's Basin so many times, I finally stopped in for a meal today. I did not realize how large the inside of this restaurant was! The waitress suggested the Watermelon Margarita and that was super tasty! The menu had a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the Rainbow Trout dish. Great view overlooking Little Squam!”

“This diner is awesome as well as the staff!!! Annie is the owner and knows how to run a successful restaurant! Her specials are always so good and the regular menu is terrific! It is open until 2 pm, so no dinner here, but you cm get breakfast anytime!!! The wait staff always get order correct, even with special requests. Coffee is the best around!!! If you want good quality food, come here consistency is always!!!”

“Have been there on several occasions to have a breakfast sandwich or takeout at their store the breakfast sandwiches are large with the most tasty croissant as the foundation. From their store we love the chicken Parmesan cutlets. They are quite flavorful and generous in portions. The cafe and store have the most welcoming staff. Quality food, generous portions, friendly staff; all good reasons to visit Gusto's.”

“Mad River Coffee is always a good stop when you're in the area. We stopped on Tuesday and wasn't disappointed. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich special. OMG so good! I took a pic of the specials board so I could attempt to make it at home. We'll see how successful I am. Coffee and service gets an "A" as well. Make sure to visit.”

“We love Peek-a-Bowl and eat here all the time. It's a Gem in downtown Plymouth. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to dislike one dish. Absolutely every choice is amazing. The family that owns the place is great, so attentive and their care for their customers really shows. They go above and beyond to deliver a great meal and a great experience. I cannot recommend this place enough.”

“This was my best meal to date in our whirlwind skiing trip in New Hampshire. Had the most amazing burger, aptly named the Tommy Burger, and cheeky red onion rings, ordered fries as well but couldn't eat them. In fact, I couldn't even sample the world-renowned key line pie as I was too full.The staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating.and the place just oozed character. And to top it all off, all for under $20. Happy days.”

“Stopped by with the family after a day of skiing. Mostly a takeout spot, but they have a few tables for dining in. We had garlic knots, salad, a cheese pizza, Margherita pizza, and brownies. All were really good, service was friendly and quick. Pizzas are made right in front of you in a stone fire oven. We'll be back!”

“Walking into this cozy family run establishment I was greeted warmly by a young man, and after browsing some menu options I ordered the breakfast burrito substituting the protein for their steak option. While waiting for my food I learned that the owners son was the one taking my order and preparing my meal. I enjoyed the light banter and friendly conversation with both owners, husband and wife, who spoke with pride as their son was excited to prepare something that would, "Blow my socks off!" I felt that the atmosphere was honest and wholesome, certainly a delight to sit and enjoy a fine respite from the cold. The meal came and as you can see from my picture attached, it was Huge! I enjoyed the meal very much packing up half of it togo, and for 16 dollars for such a healthy portion and a drink I felt as though the price was honest and fair. I left a small tip at the counter jar and left with a full belly and I am looking forward to exploring the more dessert-like options that they have available. If you are looking for something with a fair and honest price and friendly atmosphere you can count on 48 Main to provide that health conscious options with the tease of cheat day at your discretion. A great find for breakfast or lunch in the heart of downtown Merideth.”

“A very cool casual atmosphere as most have. This one is a bit more rustic. It was not very busy when we went but it was snowing. The food was good. I enjoyed it. Some of my party thought it was just okay. The only problem I had is we had to wait a long time for everything even though the place was not busy. Otherwise, it's always a good experience at the common man. At this particular place I found a lot of interesting sounding dishes on the menu. I would go back to try some.Kid-friendliness: Place maps with jokes crayons etc. Kids menu.free Cheese and crackers if they are hungry...food can take a while.”

“If Hart's is not your thing when visiting Meredith, try this fantastic alternative. Surfside is a great low key spot for burgers, seafood, tacos and a wide menu that doesn't suffer from the variety. The service on the outdoor patio is a great outdoor location for a nice day and staff is always friendly. Portion and price friendly with a good amount of quality food, you'd do yourself a favor trying this place out.”

“I've been here three times and have enjoyed everything I've had. HUGE portions. Delicious, creative drinks. Friendly staff. So nice to have some variety in Meredith. Posted a photo of my veggie burrito (full of different grilled veggies and no cheese per my request)- YUM! “I loved this place! My husband and I came in, sat down at the counter, and enjoyed our delicious ice cream! He got a banana split sundae while I got a one-scooper of cookie dough. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. The service was excellent, and it was the perfect place to slow down for a bit and enjoy some ice cream. The only thing that could've made it cooler, was if they served old fashioned sodas. It was the perfect retro feel inside and the sodas would've elevated it to something untouchable!! It's also connected to a used bookstore, which is pretty much a dream spot for me. If we are ever in the area again, this will be a high priority on our list!”

“This was the perfect small town place! We stumbled upon it after spending the weekend in Ashland visiting the ice castles and snowmobiling. We got to meet the owners, who were the sweetest people! Highly recommend, make sure you see Jules!”

“Had to check out this local home-based pub. It was great. A total locals' hangout. The bar was full, so I sat in the patio room, essentially by myself. (Rainy day, so didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating options). Tried the red ale, which was great. That day a guest was serving beer cheese made with Woodman's beer. Delicious! I only had the hard pretzels but he said the house soft pretzels are to die for.”

“Went for dinner here on a Saturday night at 6pm, we called ahead as we had a group of 8 adults. We arrived and were seated right away, the entrance was cozy. The restaurant was decorated with winter wreaths and red ribbon making us feel right at home. We order mixed drinks, wine, soft drinks and water. We ordered appetizers of Gyoza (6 in an order) and scalloped wrapped bacon (5 in an order), after 20 mins they arrived hot at the table!! We placed our order for our main entrees and they arrived about 40 mins later, all but one order was correct. The kitchen only mixed up the side order which was corrected immediately by our waiter. Our waiter was fun, made recommendations, answered our questions and was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered desserts to go, the gluten free cake was delicious!! If you're in town there's plenty to choose from here!!”

“This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Oysters with a variety of dipping sauces was unbelievable. Then also had a fantastic Seared Tuna app. The special for the night was a Filet wrapped in bacon with crab on top... delicious. The service was wonderful and the cocktails were great and different.”
