“This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Oysters with a variety of dipping sauces was unbelievable. Then also had a fantastic Seared Tuna app. The special for the night was a Filet wrapped in bacon with crab on top... delicious. The service was wonderful and the cocktails were great and different.”
“We just had the BEST breakfast of Eggs Benny and Eggs Benny Irish! And our lovely waitress Molly was fantastic! WE WILL BE BACK! (Remington thanks you for the bacon ❤️)”
“I got an order of the steak and cheese sub with waffle fries, and let me tell you, the waffle fries were so good. I had great young blonde waitresses. She was polite but a bit rushed. (It was not busy) My husband got a burger and some fries. He says it was good.”
“As soon as you step in, you’re drawn in with the atmosphere. It’s an 80s vibe that instantly takes you back. Love the options of pizza and a kids menu for the little ones. I love my onion rings crispy and crunchy, and that’s exactly what I got. Absolutely recommend it and will be back!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options and very attentive. In fact, they encourage you to share your exact specifications.Kid-friendliness: Great options!”
“This was quite a surprise for us. We were not expecting much out of a small coffee house on the side of the road. It was very cute, the staff were so nice, the food was great and the allergy friendly options were a huge bonus! I would go again for sure.”
“Food never disappoints. The make your own bloody Mary is wild. Pub standards are spot on. Always great servers.Kid-friendliness: Coloring menus, Kid menu large and kid friendly oun food on regular menu. Servers great with kids. The music is too loud, and place busy...but that means dont worry about what my kid is doing then as they arent disturbing others.”
“Walking into this cozy family run establishment I was greeted warmly by a young man, and after browsing some menu options I ordered the breakfast burrito substituting the protein for their steak option. While waiting for my food I learned that the owners son was the one taking my order and preparing my meal. I enjoyed the light banter and friendly conversation with both owners, husband and wife, who spoke with pride as their son was excited to prepare something that would, "Blow my socks off!" I felt that the atmosphere was honest and wholesome, certainly a delight to sit and enjoy a fine respite from the cold. The meal came and as you can see from my picture attached, it was Huge! I enjoyed the meal very much packing up half of it togo, and for 16 dollars for such a healthy portion and a drink I felt as though the price was honest and fair. I left a small tip at the counter jar and left with a full belly and I am looking forward to exploring the more dessert-like options that they have available. If you are looking for something with a fair and honest price and friendly atmosphere you can count on 48 Main to provide that health conscious options with the tease of cheat day at your discretion. A great find for breakfast or lunch in the heart of downtown Merideth.”
“10/10 bagel place! There are a nice variety of bagels and they are all delicious. Coffee is also very nice and everything is extremely affordable. We will certainly be back and would recommend this place to anyone in the area or passing ”
“A very cool casual atmosphere as most have. This one is a bit more rustic. It was not very busy when we went but it was snowing. The food was good. I enjoyed it. Some of my party thought it was just okay. The only problem I had is we had to wait a long time for everything even though the place was not busy. Otherwise, it's always a good experience at the common man. At this particular place I found a lot of interesting sounding dishes on the menu. I would go back to try some.Kid-friendliness: Place maps with jokes crayons etc. Kids menu.free Cheese and crackers if they are hungry...food can take a while.”
“After driving by Walter's Basin so many times, I finally stopped in for a meal today. I did not realize how large the inside of this restaurant was! The waitress suggested the Watermelon Margarita and that was super tasty! The menu had a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the Rainbow Trout dish. Great view overlooking Little Squam!”
“The seafood was outstanding. It was fresh, cooked to perfection, and the meals were just the right size. It's not too big, but we both left with full bellies.”
“Nice coffee shop with pastries, breakfast, sandwiches, coffee/tea. They have a wide selection of pastries ?. I loved the memed drinks on special...makes for a brighter day!”
“If Hart's is not your thing when visiting Meredith, try this fantastic alternative. Surfside is a great low key spot for burgers, seafood, tacos and a wide menu that doesn't suffer from the variety. The service on the outdoor patio is a great outdoor location for a nice day and staff is always friendly. Portion and price friendly with a good amount of quality food, you'd do yourself a favor trying this place out.”
“I've been here three times and have enjoyed everything I've had. HUGE portions. Delicious, creative drinks. Friendly staff. So nice to have some variety in Meredith. Posted a photo of my veggie burrito (full of different grilled veggies and no cheese per my request)- YUM! This came with a second plate of beans and rice.Vegetarian options: Staff was more than willing to make my options vegan.”
“Jem of a place! SAY CHEESE!! Our kids took us there for Raclette night. Such a cool and very unique experience. I'm a huge cheese lover and I had never had cheese this way...cooking your own food on your table on a flat top hibachi smothered in delicious melted cheese that melts below the hibachi while you cook your food. Great ambiance and staff and such a nice vibe in the picturesque village of Sandwich.”
“Love the atmosphere and friendly service here! The local art on display is beautiful and gives the place a really special vibe. It's a bummer that none of the savory breakfast options are vegetarian-friendly (except bagels). Also, sometimes the coffee drinks served too hot.Vegetarian options: Sorely missing!! Every savory breakfast option has bacon or sausage. I think there's room for improvement here!”
“This was the perfect small town place! We stumbled upon it after spending the weekend in Ashland visiting the ice castles and snowmobiling. We got to meet the owners, who were the sweetest people! Highly recommend, make sure you see Jules!”
“Wish I had taken a picture of the food before we dug in. Works of art … and not only a beautiful presentation but delish! You will not be disappointed at all. One of our favorite places.”
“Best pizza we've had in a long time. We aren't from around here and just didn't want to cook so we decided to cheat and order pizza. So glad we did. They were so nice and the pizza was amazing! If ever in the area again, we'll def be back for more!”
“Came here the first time for my husband's birthday and the food was very good. He got the buffalo chicken melt, 3 people got burgers, and I got the bob house club. Everyone loved the food, the fries were also very good. We will be back for sure!”
“Twin Barns Brewing Company is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy good food and drinks. Their drink selection is diverse. You can sit and have a conversation with your friends, or significant other, or play one of the assortment of games that they have on hand.”
“Our nachos and wings were very good. Get here early be indoor seating is limited. Summer seating is much more abundant with the patio. Excellent service.Parking: Parking was good for a weekday. Could be crowded on a weekend.”

“Specialty products are great quality, great atmosphere. Also, the pain au chocolat is one of the best I’ve had in the States. Heated up, it is crispy, but still chewy and airy. Really good!”
“We were visiting from out of town and needed cupcakes for our son's birthday. Not only were the cupcakes and whoopie pies delicious, I would call them "like grandma would make". Ann was easy to work with, accommodating, and an all-around extremely pleasant person to do business with.”
“Great staff. Eggs, bacon, toast all cooked perfectly. The sausage gravy was average at best, the potato wedges were overcooked and too salty, the brioche French toast bites special was inedible, but the manager quickly fixed it. Reasonable cost. Delicious coffee and tea.”
“Their Tipsy Turtle is sort of like a chocolate mousse-awesome! And the Sea Salt Carmel is unlike any other you've ever had- DELICIOUS!! Also love the Bear Camp Blueberry, the....”
“Food was excellent (Caesar salad with steak tips, baked haddock), service was very good (Josh), but the attitude at the reception desk could use an adjustment. Indifferent, not welcoming, certainly not flexible. Other than that, we had a very good meal!”
“Have been there on several occasions to have a breakfast sandwich or takeout at their store the breakfast sandwiches are large with the most tasty croissant as the foundation. From their store we love the chicken Parmesan cutlets. They are quite flavorful and generous in portions. The cafe and store have the most welcoming staff. Quality food, generous portions, friendly staff; all good reasons to visit Gusto's.”
