Who said you can't get decent food at a Welcome Center. We stopped here for a quick bathroom break on our way home from Vermont and ended up getting sandwiches from The Common Man and also the best ( maybe only) maple creamy whoopie pie donuts we've ever had. It's not gourmet dining and getting a table to eat at can be challenging but the donuts are worth the stop. They have everything a tired road tripper would need. I might even make it a destination point just...
I am a severe celiac and almost accidentally ate something that I thought was safe but would have made me sick - the staff stopped to verify before preparation, and saved me from a ton of terrible side effects and illness. They hooked me up with SAFE alternatives and forever made a fan of myself and my husband. 💙💙💙
My stop every day in southbound to work then northbound to fuel up on my way home from work absolutely love this place its ruined all other gas stations and rest stops for me keep up the great work
