“The newest T-Bones in New Hampshire. 2nd time my wife and I have dinner there. Both times, they wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had Charlies Baked Haddock Plate with broccoli and rice pilaf. Followed by dessert a blueberry rissotta. As usual the food was well prepared. The interior is well designed. We were surprised at how quiet the area we sat in was. Which was seating for two.“

“I have not a had a sub in a long time. I was craving a steak and cheese with onion and ordered one to be delivered. The order was placed online without an issue, arrived on time and was so hot like if I was there at the restaurant. The sub itself was the best one I ever had so fresh the steak was so good not dry or fatty, onions cooked perfectly and enough cheese. I could never eat a whole sub and it was that good I ate my first whole sub.“

Delicious bread basket ( homemade hot buttered rolls) with chocolate chip bread tonight. Cheese and crackers out of this world! Haddock tonight topped with lobster, 🦞 baked potato and broccoli. Hubby had the perfect Filet ( yum) he didn’t share :-( Looked so good! Best drinks from Shawn( downstairs bar) orange cosmo and Common man red wine. Amazing!( such a sweetheart, great bartender)! Very nice clean restaurant. Staff was courteous. A lot of couples and families.

Nic was our waiter. He was super professional and made us feel very welcome. Made some suggestions and was just really attentive and amusing.

She exuded joy and praise for the splendid funtions they put on, the restaurant and entertainment offered. She even offered me a tour, which I accepted, and sung the establisment's praises! “Could not find a cuter restaurant and gift shop in the state! This location is convenient to the Rail Trail for a quick bite, and the ambiance is fantastic. Plenty of outdoor seating, speedy staff, and yummy breakfasts for dining in and take out. They have plenty of parking and an available restroom for patrons. Plus, a gift store with fun souvenirs. I was here for a marathon and I'm so happy I stopped in.“

We have always had good luck at this location until today. There was confusion about my order tonight, a mistake was made. Ok happens. The waitress made me feel it was my fault and although she expedited my order, she left me with the sides instead of offering to remake and bring back with the order. A manager always comes out when there is a problem and apologizes for a problem and often comes back with the new order. Yes, the manager was there . We said hi to him on our way in as he was going out back. They will also take something small off the bill for making you wait. I don't believe the manager was told or knew about the situation. The waitress also proudly announced that she fixed the bill to be correct, meaning full charge. It was a very weird experience at a restaurant we do like

“A historic tavern turned into a grungy dive bar - and it works!

The food is amazing. The Poe burger is easily one of the best I've had in my life. Didn't get around to try the drinks, but they do have a decent collection of beers on tap.

The vibes are chill. They have both bar and table seating, service at the former is splendid. There's some historical curiosities here and there - perhaps most famously the belt fans above, but also some tidbits behind the bar. Ask your server!

All in all, worth writing home about.“
