The hostess was very bubbly and friendly. We were seated pretty quickly. The food was delicious. We got the calamari for a start, tried the spicy chicken corn chowder which was AMAZING! The buffalo chicken Mac n cheese was good. My husband got a burger that he loved and it was nice and pink in the middle just the way he likes it. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back!

Upon arrival the front desk was more than accommodating and fun with great hospitality . We had a very reasonable wait of 45 minutes and was told we could order drinks for the wait and sit in their designated seating area. So as a party of 4 decided might as well take advantage of that feature. We went to the bar to order and I was the last person to order my cocktail and i simply asked what kind of seltzer drinks they provided like white claw or nutril ? While rudely interrupted by the bartender ( Clem ) stopped me mid sentences said are you done now it’s my turn to speak !! I’ve never been so appalled in my life . I’ll be honest if it hadn’t been for the group of people I was with I would’ve never stayed . That was the most disgusting way to treat a customer. I was a bartender for many years and I would never ever speak to a customer in that manner. After the wait we eventually were seated with a wonderful waitress and enjoyed our meals. Lucky we had her and I’m sad I didn’t get her name but thank you waitress with the cut wrapped finger hope you heal quickly! Sadly I won’t ever step foot in the this restaurant because of that awful awful rude womanizing bartender ( CLEM ).

The steak was absolutely fantastic, and truly, all the dishes we tried were excellent. Service was also friendly and welcoming. Be prepared for a wait, though! Even during the fall season, wait times were high—we waited nearly 45 minutes. However, this seemed to be typical for all the popular restaurants in the area.

Homey athmosphere, great staff, good food and good value for money. The chicken wings appetizer was big enough to be a main dish
If you're not staying in the new england lodge, be prepared to wait a bit to be seated as it seems to be full all the time

Nachos were mediocre, the beer was so bad that I couldn’t even drink it and while the prime rib was correctly cooked, it was terrible which was made worse when I saw how overpriced it was! If you are going to sell expensive steaks, at least make sure your staff are dressed better than what I’d expect at a diner.

As frequent diners in the White Mountains, we have finally found our new FAVORITE spot! Amazing food, staff and atmosphere! The potato skins were to die for! Our server was beyond knowledgeable about the menu and cuts of meat. We cannot wait to return!

The wait was not too bad and wait staff was attentive. My food was pretty good (BBQ Burger) but my partner's food was okay (Wasabi Salmon), they thought the sides of broccoli and rice were Luke warm, bland, & unseasoned, Salmon itself was good though.

Absolutely mobbed on a Saturday night but we got there early. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, you could tell they were trying their best to keep up with the hoards of people. Waited about 20-30 min. Drinks and food was tasty, great stop. Pickle cocktail was delish
