We loved our experience at the shovel handle pub ! The food was great and our server Lilly was better. We started with the brisket chili, and got the burnt ends Mac & cheese as an entree, both great decisions. The s’mores martini was the perfect addition as well. Lilly was super helpful and had a smile on her face the whole time. So glad we decided to stop in here, will definitely be back again.

This place has so much potential but even with new owners place is uncomfortably cold. They need to put in a wood stove unless you want to wear warm clothes inside. They could have moved us upstairs but didn't despite my complaint. Would not go back until the Summer time.

Food was good here but the service was awesome and the atmosphere was magical! The fire pits outside are an awesome addition! A few more signature drinks or lists of drinks may make this even more fun! The wings and nachos looked great if you are looking for an appetizer wish I grabbed those!

Dined in at the Shovel Handle Pub over the holiday- great food (I got the prime rib, which was perfect), both quick and kind waitstaff, and live music played at just that right volume level for both enjoying the music and also being able to easily talk and catch up with your group.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as the ownership recently changed hands, but it turned out great! Intially I was sad to hear they didn’t have what I considered their signature drink - green tea whiskey (specially made by one of the bartenders) - but the whiskey sour they made did the trick. Spinach artichoke dip for an app was great and served 3 of us plenty. one of us got the steak tip dinner that was cooked perfect, chicken parm was crispy with great pasta (could’ve used a bit more sauce), and I had the special meat board consisting of a Bison slider, venison sausage, Duck, candied squash, and subbed corn cob instead of potatoes. Excellent meals and would definitely order again.

We have been here many, many times. We went on 6/13/24 and had the worst experience one could have. The bartender had 4 customers. The dining room had 3 tables. The bartender could not be bothered to wait on us. That is the best way to put it. She was too busy eating her french fries and talking with a customer at the bar, rather than wait on us. A waitress had to come over and take my cc so that we could pay the bill. If she continues to be the bartender on Thursday nights, we will not be back.
